"It was acknowledged that not everyone can become a Season Ticket Holder so the FAB should look at other ways young people can become fans, and that LCFC Women and Cup games would offer more opportunities for this".

Make more of the U21 and U 18 games, more accessible - in the image of Family Night Football, more news, free match screenings on YouTube etc.

I have always believed it was a mistake moving the training ground outside of the city. But the decision to host u21s/u18s games away from a central location, is a frustrating symptom of this. My first games were family football, as I’m sure a lot of people’s were. Going to those games do make a difference to supporting your local team, especially when your family aren’t football fans. I’ve now had a season ticket for 20 years.

The team have become a bunch of pansies since they got Seagrave too.

I started watching Leicester through the family night football at Filbert Street.

Genuinely think Family Night Football should be brought back at the KP.

The club should look at the pricing of shirts for kids.  They're too expensive. Thats surely the best way to get them interested. Get the kids wearing the shirts when they play with their mates.

Looking at the open training session at the King Power this summer, not many kids hung about for the women's training session. The majority of kids arnt interested in the women's game and its not an opportunity to see their team.

MNF was great, they used to dish out loads of free tickets to local football teams so you could all go together.

Monday nights under the lights in the Carling Stand as a young lad, those were the days.

Good old Barrie Pierpoint idea:appl:

Fully agree on the point about bringing FNF (or similar) back to the actual ground to get kids in – doesn't matter if it's a game of huge significance or the ressies when you're young, the feeling seeing the pitch emerge when you go up the stairs won't have any less impact, be great for the younger players too to get a kick at the stadium in front of a few thousand.

Not a surprise that the site visit for safe standing is the H&S blokes old work place

To see the cheapest, bargain bin option available. No boding well this, only doing it because they've been told to, doing it most likely on the cheap.

This is interesting...

There was discussion about the need to maintain a ‘one club city’ culture in Leicester and ensure young people are part of the Club and can access the Club and that it’s at the heart of the local community.

City centre full of empty shops, why don't the club short term lease somewhere in town that can act as a small club shop, ticket sales point, information centre etc.

Most Prem clubs have City Centre shop/info points.

There’s already an unofficial shop that does this.

Think the poster was meaning an official shop so that things like tickets and information could be given, rather than just a sales hub.

Because nobody wants to buy £60 football tickets and £80 football shirts.

It's primary purpose shouldn't be that.

I took my 3 year old into Leicester last weekend (we live in Nottingham), there's just absolutely nothing to do, it was depressing, we went up to New Walk but barely anything in there anymore, in and out in half an hour.

The shop could be super interactive, it could have one of those penalty walls, it could have a mini museum, little foxes themed soft play for really little ones, get a local cafe to pop up in there. Run activities during the week such as crafting, parent clubs etc etc.

Actually make it the 'community hub' they talk about.

And... if you're in the area and you want a ticket or you've got an enquiry, that's possible too.

You really aren't looking hard enough or using your imagination if you couldn't find anything to do in Leicester for more than half an hour.

I mean it was a bit tongue in cheek,  but it was a grey Sunday morning and everywhere looked rather depressing, first time i've been back into the city in a long time.

When you're looking for quick, easy, time consuming things to do with a toddler, something like what i've mentioned above would be great.

Like I say though i've not been back in ages and despite doing loads of research the evening before, a lot of things for that age range are either closed for the season/redevlopment or just full on shut down.
