It's quite obvious they're designing a lot of stuff like this for a market abroad that in the main doesn't exist. Certainly not enough to produce this many at this price.

This range and ones like it are relying on Thai lads in their 20s passing by King Power shops at the Airport and knowing of Leicester. Great target audience guys.

And they do internal reviews into "fan engagement". We must have turned into the most out of touch club in the Premier League.

Well summarised. In the process alienating an existing fanbase who are paying the highest prices ever for any traditional branding gear than they ever for LCFC.

All of it is awful and embarrassing.

Someone who thinks it pleases the man at the TOP. Whether that me cos it’s something via his mates or that it serves some bizarre purpose supporting Thailand

I used to buy a lot of merchandise from the shop for myself and presents for the family, but the prices they charge now are ridiculous. I no longer buy new replica shirts, I'll save the 70 quid they're now charging and dig my old ones out.

Maybe they should open a storefront in Germany selling crop tops in the hopes that the Thai King becomes a regular customer

FAB Event One takeaway: "We really want to connect more with the local community"

Idea: "How about creating a clothing collection for the clubs 140th anniversery that celebrates all that's great about Leicester and it's rich history in textiles and clothing manufacturing?"

LCFC Board: "..... THE LOCAL THAI COMMUNITY YOU CRETIN!!!!!!"

Northern Thailand....

Shop our brand new Northern Life collection. Crafted in the Chiang Rai village community in Nan Province, northern Thailand.

If the club wanted to do something to reflect the textile industry history of Leicester but also appeal to the Thai cultural element, they could look to the traditional clothing of the Akha people (a Hill Tribe who live in Chiang Rai village among other places) instead of the mess that the club shop is selling

Or Hmong clothing, which itself had been influential in the fashion industry: https://magazine.mtmary.edu/2016/11/17/culture-and-couture-hmong-fashion/

Let’s see Thailand lurches from one democratic, constitutional crisis to the next but never quite goes under.

Part of this sort of stuff is in someways representative to how the owners are keen to be pleasing those above their head in Thai society. They want to keep on good terms with royalty/government (ie regularly inviting them to lcfc games) but also be viewed favourably by the Thai younger generation - some who seek better free speech - as illustrated by the invites to influencers etc

The ‘trophy hunter club’ motto explains why such a top squad chose relegation to the Championship 2 years ago and the same motto also explains the recent recruitment of Cooper. It ensured we hunted a league winning trophy down in 23/24 and we’ll be back hunting that very same trophy down in 25/26.

No shock from me to find out the LinkedIn page for Samilktray has his current employers as Northern Wild Northern Life !

Would love to see the sales figures on all of this stuff. Would also really love to know how many framed, signed Danny Ward shirts they sold at £400.

They sold 1. Bought by Danny himself. He had pride of place in his living room.

That tote bag was designed with the modern, matcha drinking, avocado bagel eating, forward thinking 21st century man in mind!!!!

Surely they do market trend analysis on items they’ve launched and consumer research to identify that they’re hardly selling any of this guff?

Is it some sort of money laundering scheme?

If someone bought me that sticker  top and I had just finished taking a shit, I'd use the sticker shirt to wipe my arse clean and save the beloved bog roll from being flushed. I'd then smear my shit signature on the bog roll, frame it and list it on the club shop for £400
