I don't think Ruud would have joined if there was no money available in January, he would have done his due diligence..

Maybe, but it transpires Rodgers was lied to (That's not me making an argument in support of him btw, i'd have not given him another penny anyway, he wasted the best part of £200m, but don't forget 'He wasn't backed', but the point remains), Maresca seemed abit miffed about what he'd been promised and told, I dare say Cooper was too.

If Vitor Pereira was so easily available why weren't we all over him when we sacked Cooper! 20 years of managerial experience and we decided to go for an inexperienced RVN because he's had links with mighty "united'

Why would you want him lol

Disagree.  We had more 'big chances' and my overriding memory is West Ham shooting from anywhere. Mads did make a few fine saves, but so did Fabiański. I dont think they deserved to win the game. We did get Brighton down to a more reasonable amount of shots.

Coady literally cleared one off the line. The Brighton game fair enough most of their shots were long but a better team than West Ham would have beaten us.

And then Saturday. We took a hammering and Newcastle should have had more. Isaak missing the one on one springs to mind.

Nothing has changed in that regards. I want to see us more tighter and reducing opposition chances to a minimum. Under Cooper the opposition were having lots of chances and that has carried on so far.

We will find out just how clueless he is if Ward starts over Iversen and Stolarczyk and if competition winner Mcateer starts a 4th consecutive game against Wolves

How are Iversen and Stolarczyk doing? I thought there were injury issues...

That's not going to be fixed overnight, Ruud has been here 16 days.

I think it more important to reduce the number of big chance the opposition have rather then shots, if we can restrict them to have lot of long range pop shots that's fine.

He’s up against it it’s not his team just cooper left overs. If the club back him In January we might see a change in the team he needs fighters which some of our players ARE NOT.

Without a doubt. I'm not saying fixed over night but the 4 points papered over cracks really. Granted he's a new manager but when he came in he spoke about defensive structure being important to him. Maybe I got ahead of myself. 4-0 is an awful result regardless of days in the job though.

He's a much bigger gamble than RVN. Hot headed, never managed in this country, and his glory days are a while ago now.

Ruud has recent experience in the Prem, is a nice guy, and could potentially be a top manager.

He's not a miracle worker. Clear improvements in a short period of time in that first week. Squad (lack of) quality and systemic issues will take longer to address.

People hope to finish 15th-17th but then also seem to forget what that looks like - teams that finish in those places generally have poor seasons, barren runs and the occasional spanking vs the big teams.

We've probably got to win 1 in 4 of the remaining games to stay up - 75% of the time it won't be particularly fun.

This was the worst performance all season against Newcastle, by some margin.

Disagree on by some margin. You can take your pick from the following if we are saying 'performance', if we are saying result yes.

Southampton despite the win was dogshit mostly. They threatened be about 3 or 4 up by half time.

Forest could have 5-1

Manchester United in the Cup wasn't far off the same performance as Saturday.

Manchester United in the League was so lifeless and my worst performance of the season.

Brentford was an utter cluster**** of tactics.

Genuinely, where are his people?

If he's getting them in from the Netherlands, you are looking at a month to six weeks for a work permit on a coach. Suspect the goalkeeping chap had one in situ from his time at Man U.

His assistant at PSV is managing in Ecuador. Andre Oojier doesn't have a role anyway currently.

Tim wolf is still at PSV, his PSV assistant.

We had one shot all game… ONE shot and that was a daisy cutter from 25 yards.

It was comfortably the worst this season, struggling to think of many worse since that 6-1 loss at Portsmouth tbh. Everyone seems to have downplayed it as we have a new manager.

Good spot - Transfer markt also has Javier Rabanal down as his assistant. Either way, not straightforward to get over on his staff at LCFC

I said I disagreed on 'some margin'. Most have downplayed because of the players available. When we had a fully fit squad, Forest beat us 3-1, hit the post twice and missed two sitters.

You reckon Cunha will get away with it? Cannot see how, but could easily see any punishment being applied after we play.

Probably not, but it was all a bit handbags ultimately. I don't think he intended to knock his glasses off, but you can't raise your hands to anyone.

The elbow to the back of the head was much worse than the glasses taking, which was hilarious

Would have been class if the guy chinned Cunha.
