We’re conceding goals at an alarming rate. He needs to do something to change that. How many conceded under him now!?

Is it that alarming if you actually add context? It's only really the Wolves and possibly Newcastle game where we probably conceded more than you'd expect (obviously we all expected it when we have Ward in goal, but you know what I mean)

Now we've finished playing the top 6 I'd expect to see stats lean more favourably towards us.

Weve traded in a banged out Ford focus for a top of the range Mercedes.

Unfortunately  the Mercedes which looked decent on paper has a bust up engine, been clocked and is smoking from the exhausts when you rev it!!!

17 goals in 7 games isn’t great regardless of opposition. I don’t see how anything improves without new players, unless Ruud is the miracle worker I don’t see him in. You never know though.

Lets face it.

Those of us who had our heads screwed on knew this would happen, and we wanted someone established like Moyes.

Many of you wanted Ruud for some bizarre reason. Exactly what we didn't need.

and Im sure Bournemouth fans all thought the same when they got rid of O'Neil for Iraola

and look how thats panned out

the club always wants "proven" etc but they need to get their heads out their arses imo

Im by no means RVN biggest supporter, he has his floors, he needs to learn quickly too

If we go down, we will go down again.

I don’t see that, and we only have two that would attract offers. Transfer embargo I guess would mean the likes of Macateer playing again but he shone in the championship. PSR has done for us as a premier outfit ( obviously poor recruitment and pay structure by us) , that league is a best of the world league, the championship is miles apart. Sheff Utd were far worse than us last season and are up there, in fact two of the relegated teams last year are. We ain’t doing a Luton.

The faint hope we can cling on to is that Iraola lost his first six games I think, but the Bournemouth fans could see what he was trying to do.

I've never fancied RvN from the off, but even I can admit we've looked organised/structured these last three games - even if teams selections and subs have been suspect

Cooper lost points against Ipswich, Everton and Palace. He was battered twice by the worst Man United team for 100 years. He was out thought by Fulham and Forest - yes they’re doing well this season but compare that to Ruud’s games. A brain fart against Wolves (a huge error) he’s had Liverpool, Man City and Villa. He picked up an unlikely point v Brighton and beat West Ham,

Our overall structure has looked better in the last 3 games against the hardest opposition we have faced this year compared to anything Cooper served up,

Ruud and Cooper, there is no comparison.

That’s a fair minded perspective.

i just don’t know where we are gonna get points from if every type of game or opposition pulls up in good form or bad and we still can’t seem to come away with anything. Where is the bloody mindedness from our players to fight blood and guts for a point? Penny has dropped so Many times I’ve lost count and we still have not changed our fortunes

We look like we have patterns of play and an idea how to build an attack for the first time all season. That lineup today was woeful and that is not Ruud's fault.

Our better players returning and not playing the best teams in the league will definitely help

But yeah, it's absolutely clear we need bodies and we need them ASAP.

Cooper was shite.

Cooper was an experienced coach but uninspiring.RVN is possibly more inspiring but still learning as a coach.

The players are hard working but not good enough.

Tbh, he's setting the team up to be compact and forcing them wide. It's better than what we had under Cooper. Yet, we're still conceding to individual errors mostly.

Ruud had no preseason or his own transfers. Hard to judge anyone given that sort of hand.

Also joined at the most ruthless time of year, games every 4 days and no time on the training ground.
