Haha maybe a way for Ruud to jump before we sink, but also surely this must stiffen the fans resistance to the calamitous strategic decision-making at the club that is a dead weight around our necks.

The decision Ruud has to make now is -

Leave with 1 win in 10 and hope my reputation survives blaming the shit show at Leicester.

Or sticking it out and likely being relegated.

What does he come out better from?

Clearly the lied to/shitshow option is better for him surely?

The only manager regarded by the bookies as more likely to next leave his job is Postecoglou. Thankfully for Ange we'll arrive on Sunday with a bottle of smelling salts and an adrenaline shot to give his Spurs career a temporary boost before he inevitably gets sacked in a few weeks' time...

it's funny this but it's so true! Last week the fans were slating Son, they'll be singing his name on Sunday when he nets his hat-trick

I think so too. The only way he stays is with 5 new players of a decent standard.

The absolute nightmare scenario is he leaves in February after a few more defeats. I think if that happens it's genuinely less than 20 points we finish on.

I feel Ruud walking is win win for everyone at this stage.

We'd have a new manager who might provide a miracle with what we have. It shows the board up further for their incompetence which helps the cause for longer term change and selfishly for him, it protects his reputation.

I don't blame him if he walks.  The team is s**t and they think they are better than what we saw with Cooper, well that's been proven to be wrong  They are still crap with a new manager with a more expansive style of football.  I never thought I would say this but get Dyche, he can work with bang-average footballers, and he'll soon bring them down to earth.

Who would come in our predicament we will be scraping the barrel with the likes of Rob Edwards etc. Nobody remotely decent would come to us imo.

Him walking maybe the best thing that could happen. If they bring in an experienced manager I'd expect you to pick up points.

Who would come though? Rafa Benitez would be my pick! But he wouldn’t come.

We would rightly look like a basket case if Ruud goes now and we clearly already did which is how we ended up with Cooper then him.

No easy way out of this.

No one decent, but we're a sinking ship as it is. If someone has nothing to lose from it and all to gain, it would be a brilliant opportunity for somebody to build their reputation or look for a big bonus if we somehow survived.

I feel the same as Ruud, not just about transfers, club as a whole.

Unfortunately I don’t have that choice as my heart won’t let me walk away from the toxic relationship and that’s where they have us.

Dyche might fancy it.

He might as he’s local I rate him higher than Cooper he’s on par with RVN for me but might be able to get more output from this current set up it won’t be Pretty mind you but hopefully keeps us up.

Such as? No one credible source I’ve seen has said he’s close to walking, just the sun saying he’s unhappy with the lack of business  … doesn’t mean he’s gonna walk.

As per many media reports Ruud van Nistelrooy is close to resigning from Leicester. Feels he was promised serious signings in Jan window which have not happened #lcfc

Who could blame him? Strong leadership, smart recruitment, and a committed group of players—everything that once made us stand out have all but disappeared. If Ruud walks away and out of the picture, at least it will shine a spotlight on how bad things have actually gotten.
