Not actually sure what other reason he would have bought them for? He bought us to increase the exposure of the king power brand. No offense to Belgian league football but I don’t think it’s the most watched in Europe and I’m not sure what benefit it would be for king power to own them…

Rudkin and Whelan are still figuring it all out. Give them time. They've only had 7,5 years to find ways for us to benefit from it.
lukedlcfc22 Posted 22 January 2025 Posted 22 January 2025 You have to say what a sister club. KPFC FOREVER
KFS Posted 22 January 2025 Posted 22 January 2025 What’s the point of Jon wasting his time on a minnow like that when we’ve got real ****ing problems to deal with? Either sell one of us off or set up a functioning DoF for both clubs and preferably give us the one who’s not brain dead
Le Renard Posted 22 January 2025 Posted 22 January 2025 At this moment in time, why would you come to Leicester, I think he's made the correct decision. You can't force a player to play with a pile of s**t!

Simonb Posted 22 January 2025 Posted 22 January 2025 Will play like Zidane against us. Can't even say I can't believe this had happened.. but even more ridiculous it's to a rival. We're a right mess
He's_Magic Posted 22 January 2025 Posted 22 January 2025 Come on now, we know the score. If Leicester buy him KP don't make any money, if West Ham buy him, they do. We know where the priorities lie. 3

Unfortunately Top had to take over here a lot sooner than planned after his father’s death.

Top had enough power to sack Pearson and then watch him get reinstated. I think it's a bit of a myth that all would be well with Vichai. Better maybe, but they still heavily leaned on Rudkin and we'd have seen a lot of this still happen.

Was also told that the sacking never happened, reporters overheard Vichai ranting about the result and mentioned sacking but it never happened. When the news broke it caught them cold as they didn’t know what was happening. Totaly agree, the crime was dismantling the set up that Pearson built when Rodgers was manager. That set up covered a lot of the ills that we’re seeing now. If Top had any sense he’d be working on bringing people in to make us a functioning football club again which would probably have a bigger impact than any budget signing we got in the next week or so. Enzo had discussions in the summer with the club about bringing more people in above him to assist those already there, the club agreed but he then left. Why didn’t the club restructure and put these people in place even though Enzo then left, surely they saw that it was needed, surely they can see that what they’re doing now isn’t working year after year and something needs to change. If they had put this into action they’d have probably avoided much of the reaction we're seeing now and if they had any sense they’d be working to get good football people in now to start the restructuring process as it’s only going one way otherwise. Their internal review should have highlighted this, did the trust ever ask for the results of that review? 7

It's depressing to think we don't even expect the club to comment on this, and the signs so far is they've done the square root of nothing to address it. 1

That would be why the same errors keep getting repeated. 2
