In his interview where he goes - he doesn’t need to tell people what he says to his “staff”

well usually, no, you wouldn’t.

But when you’ve decrease the value of this club at an alarming rate, handed out extortionate contracts using this clubs money and tied this club into PSR breaches for the foreseeable future. Not to mention on the verge of league one. MF drop the act of being someone who knows what he’s doing. You don’t. Everyone knows it but you. Someone needs to oversee you at 40 years old.

Dropped in at the end of this topic tbh, just got me thinking how strange a signing it was. Moving to Slimani sure was a massive pivot.

Was not being a twat (for once) :D

You just…..discuss contrary options lol

As above, it got me thinking as well. I think that summer, Kapuska was definitely a club signing based off him being a young player doing well at the Euro’s. Mendy I feel was Ranieri based on him wanting him the year before when the club target, I.e Walsh and Pearson wanted Kante.

Hard to know with the others. Musa was an odd one. Zieler and Hernandez as well….

Slimani at least made sense and hindsight is easy admittedly. But yeah, nobody was displacing Vardy and perhaps we could have scouted more smartly for a younger gem in Europe who could have backed Vardy up and played in European games.

Are you saying that Daka wasn’t the answer to replacing Vardy? 🤣

Kramaric could have been the one but Vardy was untouchable at the time, so unfortunately the timing for Kramaric just never worked out for him here.

Kramaric wasn't quite ready when he was playing for us. He had great potential but he seemed obsessed with scoring a perfect goal instead of just scoring.

I'm glad it's worked out for him though. He seems like a nice guy.

3 months since the ‘we will bring new people in’ interview and absolutely jack all has happened. 2 weeks since being told the first of these people will join ‘very shortly’ and Marti fired and again, absolutely nothing. Inaction at its finest, although probably more likely that target after target is turning us down / refusing to speak with us. The cluster**** this club has turned into seemingly going from bad to worse with each passing week.

Yea the fact we don’t have any key positions filled goes very much under the radar. And lo and behold this rudderless and careless approach is being transmitted to the pitch.

Has he gone yet....have had enough now.... Leicester City isn't Tops club to do with as he pleases...the club belongs to the fans who were here long before he arrived and will still be here long after he's gone....give someone else the chance to run the club properly

see I'm not convinced this is true. We have a ridiculous number of "fans" who'll claim that he owns the club so he can do what he likes, and will just ask "who'd be better" if you criticise the Nepo baby in anyway

Any mention of chants by the fans after the game on Saturday like there was after we beat Norwich in November?

1 point in 15. Out of the bottom 3 on goal difference.

Thought not.

I don't think we actually need King Power out. What we need from them is to provide money for wages and transfers, which they have done and to appoint senior management who know how to run a football club, which they have failed dismally to do. Aiyawatt needs to accept that he is not a business man and get someone in who can do the job then get out of the way and let them do their job.

If he can't then he needs to go.

Given all the well documented PSR stuff about our club, I’m amazed you don’t understand our situation isn’t about a lack of investable cash - it’s down to lack of headroom in our rolling forward PSR limits following significant overspends in previous years.

naturally the two relegations have had a significant impact on this, with not only reducing the upper limit - but also in terms of income.

The other important point to note is this problem will be the case for whoever owns us - they can’t just pump cash into the playing side.

They can if you end up in League One. It isn't FFP but sustainability rules. They could gift the club 100m if they had it, giving you 60m for the cost of players without any other income. Even those ruining your club couldn't fail with that much in League One.....could they?......

I do understand that and I agree that this is the major constraint at the moment. The point I was trying to make was that he should have a knowledgeable and competent Director of Operations who should make informed decisions regarding PSR. Those decisions should not be made by a millionaire polo player who knows nothing about running a football club.

He’s proved he can’t or won’t do that. We’ve had an under-qualified Thai interim MD for about 7 months. A PE teacher has taken on the previous chief executive’s responsibilities.

If we give him anymore time to learn (been at the club for 16 years btw) we’ll go bust.

He has been involved with the club for 40% of his life. Hardly new to the business. He will not change his approach.

We lost our previous finance director to Newcastle, we just promoted the assistant. We run a lazy cab rank system because Top is inept and uninterested.

He is literally incapable of appointing somebody good off his own back. We need to recruit a manager, chief exec, technical director and commercial director - had we appointed a good interim MD, not just a random Thai he knew we might have gotten further along

60% of relevant turnover is permitted on player expenditure in Leagues One and Two under the “Salary Cost Management Protocol.”

That could be difficult for us - I recall Wrexham and Birmingham had bumper sponsorship deals that helped them with their spending when down there.

We don’t have that.

It's ok, Top will just invent a new Crypto casino and claim they're giving us £3 trillion worth of bitcoin. Job's a goodun'

Is there any sort of protest organised for tomorrow? Or is there just no one interested in going so it will be an unofficial Boycott?
