Going into work has been hell this morning in all honesty. Went sleep spitting feathers and woke up just as mad...been a horrible day and will take me a while to get over it!

Yeah I feel exactly the same and now emotionally exhausted.

Hence why I can't watch anymore and be pulled further into the pit of despair

Try lobbing a flip flop from 10 rows up +, will land on someone's head. Stick to tennis balls, least they will make the pitch.

I’ve just ruptured my shoulder trying to chuck a white elephant from row 10. Did well to get it past the stewards, I put 2 pairs of leggings and some lipstick on it and they thought it was a lass from Brannigans.

I didn't reply to any of the bellends on WhatsApp last night.

Frustrated me as I'm not one to do that sort of stuff when another team is in the muck.

The meme-y wind-up merchant nature of modern football fans is weird.

Everyone bring a Cambodian flag.

This might be the best idea yet. Can you imagine the uproar. Thai Govt would be on the phone to the 5’3 temu Kim Jung Un and tell him to sell within minutes.

When we are fighting against relegation in the championship next season after a massive points deduction, the penny might finally drop for some.

And yet it still hasn't for so many!

Yeah I woke up to about 100 messages. Then have to go into work surrounded by fans of successful fans (and Cov fans)...

2-0 away defeat to Forest in the PL. that was the moment. The 4-1 away defeat in the cup was the moment I wanted us to move on from Rodgers. However that Forest league game was in 2023. I couldn’t believe as an owner he was sat there watching players prance about in a local derby without a care in the world and just let it happen. It was the first moment I thought, he’s clueless (tried to give him the benefit of doubt before then).

that’s an awfully long time. You see people now, even on this forum switch sides. But the scariest thing. For a fan of this football club. There are still those who blindly support him. We are in for a battle.

I have no idea how anyone can look around the ground, at the empty seats, the complete lack of buzz in anticipation, the diminishing returns on the pitch and think it is acceptable because it was like this for a few years two decades ago.

They have no pride in the club, clearly. Don't want the ground to be full and involved in big matches. Terrible mentality.

I drive to midweek games and often park around Tudor Road/Fosse Road North area. I got there around 18:20 and I couldn't believe how dead it was there and in all the surrounding areas as well as on my walk to the ground. Usually there's a queue to get onto Fosse Road North and people are normally fighting to get available parking spaces. I just drove up and parked yesterday. I walked to the ground and got there 20 minutes before kick off . I couldn't believe how few people there were outside the ground and at the turnstiles. It was surreal.

This but use flip flops. Just buy some for a quid or two from Primark.

In Thailand footwear/feet are seen as a symbol of low status and distaste. In Thailand, and in the context of protest, it would effectively read as we see Top as being lower than low for us. Incredibly embarrassing. Bonus points if they have a Thai flag sticker/painted on them.

Or, perhaps even better - white elephants.

Amazon Link

In Thailand, the white elephant is a famous idiom. Historically, a King would give a white elephant to a courtier he disliked; the animal was sacred (so it couldn't work) but incredibly expensive to keep, eventually bankrupting the owner. Sound familiar?

It speaks directly to the Thai people to succinctly say that our owner is a fool and he's bankrupting Thai pride, in every sense of the word.

It's ridiculous. It points fun at Top. In Thailand, being laughed at is considered worse than being hated.

One or the other or both? (Flip flops/white elephants)

Either way, the most effective way to get rid of Top is to embarrass him in front of his peers. He doesn't give a toss what the British media or we think.

Time to get clever. Hit him where it hurts (his pride). We can do this without getting vitriolic or xenophobic.

If people are on board with this, does it need its own thread/twitter/campaign to gather momentum?

I love the flip flops idea… very disrespectful and relatively easy to smuggle into the ground

I guess it will be a positive as it means they can leave on 85 mins and get home quicker. Great success!

What was the published attendance (and likely attendance given the published attendance is inflated)

25,827. I would say around 16k actually there.

Even if you count all STHs in that 25k, add in 700 away fans, that leaves around 2k paying for an individual match ticket.

No one as a custodian of a football club should downplay the history, size and success of a football club they own like he successfully did in that interview.

'A small club in Midlands'

That comment is proof that he's completely disattached from understanding English football and the city ('they have done a lot for the city though').

We get relegated, this club is going to be see hundreds of job losses.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Respect the badge, love the badge, honour the badge. I know a lot of people say it but it’s so true. It hurt a lot hearing that but it also explains a lot.

We got bigger crowds under Levin/Kelly

Shows how detached people feel about it all

I can’t read about this flip flop throwing contest without thinking of when Bush dodged 2 shoes in a press conference years ago. :)

It’s now being widely said that managers have turned us down in the past because they don’t want to work with Topkin.

Think Potter who wanted to bring his own DoF in, and Enzo also wanted that. Pipes said it last night, though not sure who he was referring to. If you ever needed proof they are done here and need to sell up. Surely that would convince KPFC? It limits who you can appoint to under qualified or inexperienced - much like Cifuentes, who’s slides were apparently great (a convenient story clearly leaked by Topkin to make us think otherwise).

King Power were finished here a long time ago.

Only the happy clappers were buying into their delusions.

And now the wider football public know that they haven't a clue.
