It all feels very familiar - assume the Cannon deal was to bring in cash to cover the Club's arse from PSR. Expect Mads and maybe even El Khannouss to go before 30 Jun.

Cannon's £4m profit is not the PSR deal we'd be needing to do, we'd brought him back to sell but were initially open to a loan with obligation on promotion so it can't have been for PSR. If we still need to sell for that reason it's going to require a big profit from a sale like Hermansen or Bilal.

It clear we still aren't in a great position from a PSR point of view and need the massive losses of both 21/22 and 22/23 to drop off.

 

Which makes me even more annoyed by the signing of Ayew and Skipp.

 

For 30m we could have brought in 3 or 4 young players gambled on the possibility of generating some of income from developing and selling them on.

I think we need a better board. Villa and Newcastle have renowned Sporting Directors who now how to sign players. Rudkin isn't great at the elite level, we've been lucky for the past 13 years.

Wasn’t the reports that the 10 million (euro) was the loan fee and the  1 million (euro) was the obligation ? Might have read it wrong.
