Cheers, I did check after posting too. Was just dreading the only commentary option being Fletch on every session with his man in the pub routine.

Ross Muir. Not one century scored. Highest breaks of 93, 52 & 50. But Fordy only managed two higher than 57. Maybe partly because of what Muir was doing but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Muir can do damage to another Leicester player as he has Ben Woollaston next.

But I do agree with Ford to some extent, the likes of Muir and Martin O’Donnell reaching The Crucible is a depressing thought.

We just need to see some exciting young players there. Si has done well over the past couple of years. I really want to see the likes of Jackson Page and Joe O’Connor not only qualify but get to the quarter finals at least. The sport needs new blood.

Fml I didn’t realise those two have been drawn together.

The Page/O’Connor section was an evil draw, like yourself, was hoping we’d get the opportunity to see them both qualify.

A possible 10 debutants this year, only one certainty though in Lei Peifan or Gao Yang.

I don't always buy into it when players moan about the way other players play. It's the old Rodri "only we tried to play football" comments. Can't be easy but up to you to adapt to beat them, if you don't miss then the other player can't go defensive. Don't think its a good look to go crying on social media.

Ford let himself down with the ps he is shite comment but he has a point.

Him and Martin O'Donnell need booting off the tour if they need to go over 30s a shot per match over the course of a season

And unsurprisingly Muir vs Woollaston is the slowest match going.

But at least Wakelin is pummelling O’Donnell.

Dave Gilbert through 10-9 after being 5-8 down. Great stuff for him to make sure he's at the Worlds. He only started practicing 10 days ago, and I'll no doubt see him in the club practicing on Thursday afternoon when I go in.

Two debutants

Two deciders

Good to see Ben get through

Zhao vs Slessor was quality

Roll on tomorrow, hopefully Page vs O’Connor delivers especially.

Delighted for Joe, once again.

Sensational win given the way Page has been playing. Hope he gets a good draw, he can go deep I think.

He's shown he can beat anyone on his day, hopefully he’ll have a good tournament.
