Didn't realise Moody was in hospital with tonsillitis the day before and could barely eat or drink. Fair play to him. I used to get bad tonsillitis as a teenager and it wasn't fun.

Pullen missed the 14th black for a possible 147 which would've pocketed him £147,000.

 

Bingham missing another 147 and losing the match to Matthew stevens was a bit of a shock.

11 possibly 12 Chinese players in the hat for the first round. A decade or two and the sport will be completely Chinese dominated. The difference in calibre between young Chinese and UK players in crazy.

 

Also maybe time for a Europe v China style competition??

Amazing to see 3 players over 50 all capable of becoming world champion.Hard to believe Davis was 31 and Hendry 29 when they last lifted the title. Hopefully young Selby just a kid at 43 can pick.up another title.
