I’m getting confused again, 1 minute the forum is telling me Seagrave/academy is not doing its job the next minute we should be hanging on to players 🤷‍♂️ 

I want a team full of academy lads as much as the next man but if, if we get 15m for a 16/17 we take it and say all the best.

There will be better options for what we need right now, look at Morgan Whittaker who went for half that and scored 14 for Boro & 7 assists still only 25…now I’m not saying him but as an example.

For what it’s worth my personal opinion is that out of all the academy lads who played last season in our 1st team Aluko will have the best career followed by Nelson it’s those 2 we need to keep.

After that the likes of Braybrooke, JJ, Cartwright and Wilson-Brown will build the foundations for our future team. 
We just need to get as much as we can for Monga & unfortunately due to age what ever the system believes is fair for Motsi

Don’t be tricked into thinking this is a great deal. He is worth more than that. it’s the miss management of the club that as led to us getting rid for whatever we can. It’s a sad state of affairs and it’s going to get a a lot lot worse.

Completely incorrect sadly. If we'd maintained the position we were when the 4'11" Nepo baby inherited us we'd easily have got 2 or three actual seasons out of him, not just a few cameos and a paltry single goal in a relegation to the third tier.

He'd have absolutely suited coming on against lower table dross in a good side more than the appearances he made for us this season.

Being suited and having a manager actually be willing to play them are two different things though. Aluko this season should have played more, but he didn't
