But it's be a start if he fixed his own mistakes. Add a midfielder. Play Okoli for some pace at the back Add pace upfront.. Play Buonnotte and Bilal. 6
john ridley Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Be nice to get something for a nice send off for Ruud 1

The formation with Justin playing right wing doesn't work. 1

FosseSpark Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Stola Coady Vestegaard Okoli Coulibaly Winks Soumare Kristiansen Bilal Vardy Daka .
Eskay Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Unfortunately we are massively hamstrung with the base of our midfield. Any combination of winks/Soumare/Hamza/Skipp is pure championship level. It leaves our very championship level defence very exposed and has little to no attacking capability. To beat spurs you need to move the ball quickly through the lines and expose their high line. We just aren't set up for it. Big loss incoming I would predict. 1

Especially as most of the time when he actually does get forward he bottles it, stops and passes to the middle but doesn’t carry on the run.

He ought to play Woyo at ring wing with Justin at right back. 2 minutes ago, Richmondfox said: Especially as most of the time when he actually does get forward he bottles it, stops and passes to the middle but doesn’t carry on the run. Because he doesn't have the ability to get past a Premier League left back in a one on one. Thats not his fault, he shouldn't be expected to do something he doesn't have the skill for. 1

Don't fall the the Dutchman's spiel on that one.. He's bang out of form owing to being mismanaged. 10 mins here and there then the occasional match ...he's unable and being withheld from achieving any form. As for Fulham 0-2 down. With 15 mins left, he was trying stuff in a desperate bid to create a spark. Nobody else was. Least of all the manager, who'd given up. 2

That’s true but he also stops and turns back even when he has space in front. He just isn’t a good footballer, even at the basics. Now I’m nit picking but watch him take a throw in, if he doesn’t do something first time he shuts down and ends up sending it back.

Giving the ball away cheaply has been a problem of his for along time. Nothing to do with mismanagement and very much part of the reason i don't think this guy gets in the Brighton team. A fabulous talent with a very obvious flaw. 2
TheGoldenGod Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Never ending "woe is me" story on SS about Spurs injuries...wont make a shred of difference! They'll win. 3-1. 1
LCFCCKEANO Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Stolarczyk Woyo Faes Vestegaard Kristiansen Soumare Winks Skipp Buonanotte El K Daka Sit in and counter with the two ‘wide men’ quite central, spurs are weak through the middle and we can get in behind
Tomo260 Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Who's looking forward to Doctor Leicester's prescription of 3 points to poor old Spurs tomorrow. 1
Foxdiamond Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Not had a 0-0 with Spurs since 1948. Absolutely zero chance of it happening tomorrow
Gazza M Posted 25 January Posted 25 January We must surely pack the midfield to protect our poor poor defence whilst having an outlet up top to try and hold the ball up so it isn't coming straight back.
