What’s more amazing, this great result? Or the fighting cocks forum not going down during the match?

good point ..the meltdown that must be happening on there...

Funny, over the years we seem to do better away at Spurs than home. Absolutely surprised and delighted today. I suppose we will hear more about Spurs injuries but we have missed players too

Took my son out for his first driving lesson before the match. Was fairly confident that was as nerve wracking and outright terrifying as my day was going to get…!

There's nothing quite like a Spurs meltdown is there. Jamie O'Hara on SSN is superb. Anyone would think Spurs were any good and they win things.

Paul Parker believes Tim Sherwood could be Man United's perfect caretaker | OffTheBall

I take it you were watching the same stream as .e where he said there was no chance of spurs losing and Leicester will be relegated

Well done to Ruud and the team. Given Spur poor league form, this was a game ud target 3 points from, you can't miss chances when they are there to be taken, thankfully we didn't  At the end of season this could be the win that keeps us up.

They are also ranting about time wasting

Good stuff

I hate spurs so this along with the brilliant win is sheer bliss on the grandest of scales

Well that's Ange gone. Can't lose to us and survive

And he knows it.  A beaten man in his post-match interview.

Bouba - excellent.
Jacob - proper performance.

I just love how Bilal grabbed Vards after his goal and dragged him back. We are getting more out of this.

Defensively before the goal still needs work and he needs a signing back there.

Brilliant feeling

Oh **** off you absolute embarrassment, this Leicester team we just lost to AT HOME features a 90 year old Vardy (who has 2 in 2 vs us this season FFS) and two wingers who would be lucky to get 10 goals between them in the ****ing championship. We've now lost to two of the three bottom three IN OUR OUR ****ING STADIUM.

Almost our entire team from today starts for them. ****ing Harry Winks in there holding down the middle, lord give me strength.

He isn't wrong. It is a terrible result for Tottenham. Our own fans were erupting over the starting line-up.

The thing with line ups - fans have a much narrower view in terms of only seeing match days AND have it easy because if they get it wrong there’s no real come back.

We have no idea what Ruud would be seeing in training - the enthusiasm, the effort, the application from players - and he has much more pressure on his selections making conservative trade offs that lean towards creating defensive stability more likely.

Fans tend to go for perceived attacking skill over any other factor - which is why you continually see suggested players and formations on here that have two number 10’s in Bilal and Facundo.

Yet, we’re in a relegation battle, so I’ve never been sure having both of them on the pitch at the same time is a smart idea for a club in our situation.

What I’d say is more important first and foremost is having players on the pitch with the right mindset - and that might be what some fans may have been missing from Ruud’s selection choices today.

I completely agree with everything you've said, and have to admit this season I have fallen into the trap of judging everything with a narrow view. But I would say, a front 3 of BDCR, Ayew and Vardy probably wasn't that wise vs a Spurs side who play a high line and can't defend. Both Ayew and BDCR showed fight today though, and that's what I've been calling for since Ruud arrived.

Testament to Jaime I say

I’ve heard over many years that Vardy hasn’t done too much today. An isolated position as the sole striker, what did they expect.

Never right him off even at his age!
