I live in Oxfordshire and am, naturally, surrounded by Man Utd-supporting neighbours. I’m heading to the pub with five of them tonight. All I’m asking is for something other than total humiliation. Can we at least try to give them a game…?

Should be fine, they didn't try at all last week, so they should be full of running

Do we know how many we're taking up there tonight?

As in fans. To Old Trafford.

Not how many painful goals we'll manage to concede.

I looked this morning and there were still tickets available from the 1300. Not many but it's a statement. Considering the full allocation was 3400 and they struggled to sell 1300.

If he plays the same back 4 he did against Everton he should be sacked before kick off. Really hoping he tries something different tonight. A great opportunity to try a back 3 with wing backs.

Thanks pal.

That is a statement. I'd never castigate anyone for going – and I obviously still hope we'll get a result and go through (although fat chance) – but I'm (rightly or wrongly) glad the numbers are low.

I went to the 'your 90 minutes' last night and this came up (quite understandably, although a little off topic) he said they'd sold 1200.

Side note: I explained that I'm boycotting it and Jim agreed, stating that he has to run the coaches but he has refused to buy a ticket and will be sat in the car park.

Blasted mate

Only way to watch us these days is to be suitably anesthetised - I'm starting in a minute - I've been saving a rather nice bottle of Tequila for tonights game

I'm just a bit worried about my tele when the 4th goes in - I've just bought it and it's a Sony beauty
