It's not just the fact we're  going to be relegated,we've  been here before and got through it ,it's the gross  mismanagement that caused it that pisses  people  off.But for me it's the gutless ,weak mentality and don't give a ****  attitude  of the players willing to  just go through the motions for their  paycheck and ****ing Rudkin  for  dishing out the ridiculous  contracts.I started going down regular in the Mclintock season so have seen alot of crap but these last few seasons have made me  fall out of love for the club and football in general ,which after all the memories  is abit sad really .

Maybe because it told the truth

Seems that way. Unless someone misunderstood it, it’s not critical of the fans, just the gutless players. Kpfc in charge get it seems.

KPFC are killing a club that existed for 125 years before they turned up. Alienating supporters, showing themselves to be incompetents, employing yes men and women. Out of touch, out of control, beyond their level of competence. Look forward to that being deleted too. Gutless wonders

Supported this club for 40 years. However bad we were, under Levein, Kelly, Holloway, I always looked forward to games and walking up the gangway to see the pitch and the stands and the players wearing OUR shirts. The last 3 years has sucked every little bit of joy I ever felt out of it. A club ran by people so detached from supporters, instead treating us as customers. Bringing their influencers along to a reason to celebrate and ignoring supporters at the same time. Making horrendous decision after horrendous decision and self congratulating. Being so utterly out of tune with the mood amongst the people who actually care about the club. Banning loyal, decent people for no reason other than challenging their leadership. Emailed them today to give them permission to list my seat for the rest of the season as I can’t sell any more and I won’t be back at the club until the overwhelming majority of senior managers and players have left. They don’t deserve our support, but are so full of their hubris that they don’t see it. Absolute shame on the so called leaders who have run this amazing club into the edge of years and years of mediocrity. You aren’t leaders, you are shambolic failures. Get out of the club.

Great sentiment,  but as a club we will be back. We've had distatorous  periods previously Mclintock, Taylor, and Administration. Each time the spirit of the club, the true supporters. the history and the people of Leicester and Leicestershire have got behind the club.Things will get better.Foxes never quit.

Happy to be part of a mass walk out but I've already paid for my ST and the club aren't going to stop my DD for it lol

Mentally I'm probably in the same position as @HitchinFox

Same  I'd stop going long time ago but I'm still paying out for a ST!!

I hear you but I was there with Pleat, there with Taylor, there with Admin, there in league one and there was always a connection. Now there’s nothing at all left other than despair. Maybe it’s getting older and gaining perspective but I don’t think it’s that. I think it’s the people running this club now, what we could have become, what they’ve reduced us to, and their  awful lack of connection to what matters.

I've long been of the opinion that banners and chants are a far better way of expressing your disgust than empty seats, as I believe that just looks apathetic and they've already got your money if you'rea STH. However, I'm starting to question that now. When fans are showing their displeasure through banners and chants inside the ground, it's not taking off and they are being met with dogs abuse.

When we were relegated to League 1, I was angry about how far the club had slipped. However, it was the reset we needed, but it only worked by luck. Nobody could have predicted how Pearson transformed the way he saw the club should be run. This reset ultimately led us to the things we thought we could only dream about. So here we are again, in the same perilous position, so unless Top is prepared to make sweeping changes (and yes if his health permitted, I'd be looking at Pearson as DoF) then we are on the same downward spiral. We should never have been in this position, but a lack of forward thinking, poor decision making, financial mismanagement and planning means the club is in a total mess. I don't enjoy the experience of match days anymore, the atmosphere is toxic, the players don't look bothered or have the ability at this level, the manager is out of his depth and the board is clueless. Reviews, letters to the fans, free beers is not want we want, so come on Top, grow a pair, and remove those responsible or if you are not prepared to do so, move on and let new investors in.

The apathy towards LCFC, the owner, Rudkin, Ruud and also the players is clear to see on here.

I know FT is a microcosm of the wider fan base, and potentially there’s fewer match going posters on here than there are non matching going fans (myself included these days)

Given last night, and today’s results all but confirming our relegation, when are folk finally going to cave and simply stop going to the games? Or a mass walk out

I know our fans are largely passive (putting it nicely) but when is enough going to be enough to the point where people start voting with their feet?

We’re always losing, we can’t even score a goal, the players don’t care, Ruud is clueless, Top and Rudkin even more so.

It’s not enjoyable for you is it? It’s a habit? Go down the pub with mates instead, take your kids/partner out. Take up golf!

Make a statement

20k fans not attending the last 12 games might speak more volume than a hastily organised protest 🤷🏻‍♂️

The problem is golf is really sh1t. Also you’ll never be accepted on any reputable golf course. Otherwise agree

If you're doing it for yourself then fair enough, it'stotalky understandable. If you're doing it because you think it'll affect change, you're living in cloud cuckoo land.

Actions in and around the ground ate the only thing that might actually help us to get our club back.

Grassroots football more fun, actually most grassroots sports are. As is sacking off the ST for this bunch of clowns and picking one up at Tigers. Will be met with derision on this forum no doubt but at least there you can have a beer watching the game, avoid knuckle dragging bellends coked off their heads (both home and away fans) and not feel embarrassed about the team you’re supporting.

I think this could be the only way.

However, impactful boycotts could be an awesome ploy. Next home tv game, announce it the night before - Project Reset part 2, 20k fans not showing up - I doubt we would get 20 or 10k though - that is the issue.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t you used to occasionally post in the golf chat talking about Forest Hill? Sorry if that wasn’t you!

I’m shite, but am a member at what many say is the best course in Leics.

Think people are aware of my ban situation but I can hand on my heart say if I was able to go to home games at the minute I wouldn't be. I actually feel sorry for people in the pub pre-match when they're having to leave and go to the ground while I can just sit there and do what I please - and I'm the one not having to pay for it.

I came very close after the Plymouth away loss last season to just sacking the rest off but I did end up going to the West Brom game - but I was getting there.

If I could go to home games at the minute I wouldn't. The away games are only worth it for the trips and drinking in another city as well. Getting the perks without having to suffer the dross that comes with it. I'd recommend it.

and this is just a juvenile argument. You don’t have to go if it upsets you that much. It is a free country. I neither eat Pringles, nuts or sandwiches but I will keep going because each match is a new match and anything can happen. I am forever an optimist and that’s how I am in life. It’s bloody hard right now with LCFC but it is where my heart lies. For bad or good. If you can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen but stop slagging off the fans that actually want to go and support a team that is bloody crap right now It will turn around again. It’s football. It’s not for the faint hearted.

It’s not a juvenile argument as I witness it week in week out. I’m not suggesting you personally are one of these fans, but there are large pockets of fans who go to the games and offer nothing, they just sit in pure silence, clapping the players off after abysmal performances and scoff at anyone who openly criticise the club. The supporter community is largely passive on match days, it’s why the atmosphere absolutely stinks most of the time.

Things are bad at the moment because of those running the club. This is the worst Leicester city team I’ve ever watched, and I watched us under Taylor, Bassett, Levein and Holloway. This is by far the worst state we’ve ever been in, not because of the finances, because of the lack of care most of the full time members of the club have for both the club, and its fans.

We’re not Leicester City anymore, we are a failing part of the King Power corporation.

We have to hang on in there with them. They show the issues far better than an empty seat does.

The empty seat point only really works if its stark and new, so many leaving early for months has killed that shock factor.

How about for either the first 15 mins or the first 15 mins in the second half everyone stays in the concourse or outside the stadium and theres a mass protest. No one goes into their seat. Especially if it's a televised game would really send a message I think. This way it may appease both sides of the fence. Those who want to back the lads/not waste their season ticket etc and for those who want to make an impact?

I used to work as Forest Hill when I was 15ish! But no never played golf. I’ve gone on these corporate golf days (sat at the bar in my case…) in Scotland and it’s striking how much of a b1tch they think employed people are

I moved to the US years ago so my only match day experience is when I come back to visit my family in Leicester. I still have good friends who are ST holders. They can get me tickets whenever I want them. In the last 4 months I’ve made 2 trips to see my parents & attend a wedding. Both times I had the chance to go see wolves at home and Brentford at home the other day. I chose to not go as my little way of protesting. I’ve also stopped spending stupid amounts of money on LCFC merch.

its a drop in the ocean but that’s all I can do. It hurts bad as I love the club and city and look forward to go to the KP. Will always support the badge no matter what I continue to fly the blue flag here in California. I hope and pray our fortunes change sooner or later. Do not like seeing us suffer like this. We are much better than this.

I get the sentiment entirely.

However.

There is still a small part of me that gets excited a day before a game and allows me to foolishly believe we might just string a couple of results together and somehow have half a chance of survival. It's a case of allowing the heart to rule the brain.

Yesterday was a perfect example. As the day went on, I convinced myself that we would play well under the lights, Ruud would have Frank's number tactically and we'd somehow steal it. Also thought that Bournemouth would inflict Wolves with a four-goal spanking and all of a sudden we'd have half a chance. As I walked in last night, I looked at the starting lineups and was hopeful. In fact, I convinced myself that I "just knew" this was the night that the second Great Escape would begin.

As it turns out, we were the ones getting spanked and Wolves won.

As I said, it's purely a case of allowing the heart to have a say in things. I detest Rudkin and the way the club is being run. I have no time for the happy clappers – and I've told a few so in person. Including last night, when someone came up with the "but we were League One not so long ago" line in the pub when discussing the protest.

Fact is my brain has already resigned to the inevitable and is already looking forward to next season and:
a) Getting rid of some dead wood
b) Seeing some of our youth players being given a chance
c) Actually scoring some goals and winning at least a few games
d) Maybe, just maybe, Rudkin losing his job. In fact, ALL his jobs he holds with KP. Sod him. He's a twunt.

But my heart still overrules my brain 24 hours before a game and I find myself "knowing" we will pull something off. This will no doubt happen until it's mathematically impossible for us to stay up.

My thoughts exactly but as I’ve said before why wait for next season in the championship we have players that will give everything for the badge and for them to get a run out in the first team would be amazing for them they’d play out of their skins to impress, ffs we even have the likes of Evans who can score for fun and Monga being courted by Real Madrid Man City and god knows who else;

I for one say play them what have we got to lose because they have more backbone commitment and spirit than more of RVN’s team choices and probably more quality that them too, give them a shot Ruud you’ve always gone on about utilising the young players & giving them a chance but the bloke is far too stubborn and up his own backside to change things around for the next fixture so it looks inevitable that we will be welcomed back into the EFL next season and I’m sure they’re waiting to slap us with a few sanctions and or fines !!
