I think he was quoted as saying he wanted a return to Germany. Not sure which clubs are currently looking though.

I don't think there is any at the moment

We are a mess of an organization but I’d rather get the right manager in even if it takes a little longer rather than be cheap, settle and get the wrong guy in (Cooper and Dyche)

You think we won’t drag the shit out of this and still end up appointing dyche?

I’d be really quite happy if King got it. At least we know of him, and he knows us, rather than tenuous links to managers none of us had heard of 3 months ago.

In fact, it might be the first thing that starts drawing me back in. He’s seen the worst of us, and the best. Was fairly integral during Pearson’s eras too, and a Pearson type era is PRECISELY what the club needs right now. Not to set us up for another PL title, but to weed out the dross, the slackers, the bad eggs and the passengers. Establish some pride in the club, pride for playing for the badge.

It wouldn’t be fair on him.

Clocks ticking for you mate…. lol You’re already 2 days behind your prediction!

I can't help the club being slow as fook. It is happening. We're just dragging our heels as usual.

We should ask NP to come back with King as his new Shakey. Start building strong foundations again for the medium to long term before we spiral even further downhill.

We could and probably will do a lot worse.

If there's any truth in that .... First chance he will be gone  .... and here we go again .... back to square one .... so let's employ him and get some compensation

A Bulgarian guy I work with has been telling me that we should go for Igor Jovićević as he's just left Ludogrets after winning the treble (in the Bulgarian League...), actually has a pretty decent CV as well.

Maybe the guy I work with could replace Rudkin, as it seems like we're unable to look outside a 40 mile radius for our managers nowadays!

I'm team Rohl, despite being a bit of a Dyche apologist, look at United if you want to see what happens when you consistently bring in managers with different styles.

Too be fair it could be due to Wednesday dragging their heels to announce his departure that is slowing this down.

If we do go for Rohl and get it over the line it could well be Wednesday holding things up. I would argue that the situation is pretty complex and not as simple as it would be to hand over compensation or to employ an unemployed manager. If it is Rohl then patience might have been required due to his situation and if it saves 1 million (for arguments sake ) then I’m all for it and it might for once show a savvy financial decision.  In our heads it’s been dragging in for months in reality it may be only a week or so, if we announced him in the next few days, given the complexity of the deal and working with an owner like chansiri, I think we will have done pretty well.

I could of course be completely wrong and it’s not Rohl and we simply have no plan.

I know logic and this board dont go hand in hand. But the fact nothings been said makes me think it has to be Rohl, if it was Dyche he would be in by now, theres nothing stopping that from happening and why would you let training start without him if he was the guy.

Yes exactly, Rohl is trying to exit his contract and is obviously keeping things quiet.  I hope we would not be taking this long to bring in an out of work manager.
