More from Pep Guardiola on Wednesday's opponents Leicester and why Manchester City need the support of their fans: "I know how tough Leicester are. I have been impressed by the way they have played the last two games. They played really well against Chelsea and against Aston Villa they played really good, in different ways.

:scarf:lol

The only time tough can be used to describe us, is we are a tough watch……….

Is he really talking about the Villa game on 4th Jan? That’s hardly recent and I was there and we were shit

That Villa game was over 3 months ago and we mustered 2 shots on target.

We scored though, yay!!

We did! A Mavi hot shot - it was an equaliser too - shame the kamikaze squad at the back ****ed it up again

...and the fact that we haven't scored a league goal since that fortuitous win over 'Spurs B' at the end of Janaury is staggering!!

Please don't play Faes. He plays like he doesn't give a shit about LCFC.

pretty sure he was dropped for the first two games in charge for Ruud in which we took 4 points, announced he wants to leave in Jan and has played every game since

There's another poll there ... who wants faeces to stop at the club

It does my head in that he gets anywhere near that team.

It's a pity compliment.... nothing more

Yep. When him and his players (Rodri especially) say you “didn’t try to play football” and similar,  you know you’ve rattled them and set up well.

I spent the 2nd half up in an unboarded loft as I thought it’d be unlucky to come back down after Jamie’s goal. I know where I’m heading tomorrow night

A win against Man City in early April will mean virtually nothing.

Disgraceful.

I’m mean we won’t win, but I suppose if we did the gaps down to 9 pointslol

Having seen the Wolves result tonight, if the club have an ounce of credibility left they'd notify Ayew, Reid, Faes, Vestergaard, Coady, Winks, Soumare and Daka that their services are no longer required this season/ever again and to make their own way back from Manchester.

Get Aluko, Amartey, Cartwright, Braybrooke, Page, Evans, Monga and Joseph up to Manchester early tomorrow.

Agreed. Get some new players in. No point selecting the ones who have played (allegedly) for the majority. Give the young lads a go from here.

Expecting the worse, wondering why I’m going, but booked it off work ages ago! Just hope for some of the youngsters in the squad, but imagine it’ll be Reid and Ayew to offer ‘protection’ :frusty:

Exciting innit. Matchday. Another game in the best league in the world. Scrambling to source a ticket from somewhere and to get away from work early. The excitement, anticipation and nerves. What side will he pick? What formation will he play? How will we compete with the current champions? The unknown.

Love it… 🫠
