Yeah I did think that after lol I just couldn't think of another example.

Thing is I do get that as he invested lots of money - the amount they spent on players etc - compared to us who just relied on selling a big name player every year. I know wealth is different, mind, but this whole idea that King Power "won us" things takes away from the players and manager at that time. It's a bit annoying.

Well it was an excellent point and we're not the only ones but feel it's only at the cult like ownership clubs - effectively dictatorships where the owner basically makes the club part of their business. We were King Power, not Vichai.

Put the company name on the stadium and the shirt and you blur the line between Leicester City and King Power FC. Then factor in the bus at the front of the parade full of Thais with King Power attire.

Do Manchester United fans say how Martin Edwards won so many cups? or do they say Fergie, class of 92 etc..

"King Power Out" doesn't just work as a shock to Top to shake up the board and make changes, it's a **** you to the unnecessary hold King Power has had and still has over us, Leicester City.

Is it only our fans who do this? Do Chelsea fans say that Abramovic gave them their first league title in 50 years and not Mourinho?

Most certainly not. Chelsea fans love Abramovich, Man city fans bend over backwards for the Sheikhs, the geordies will be talking about the Saudis long after they've chased Eddie Howe out of the city, Wrexham fans only think of the Hollywood duo etc etc etc. The only exception I can think of is Liverpool with Klopp rather than FSG

I wonder what it’d take for some to finally be King Power out. The worst and mosy expensive PL relegation a few years after finishing 5th twice, plus winning the cup isn’t enough.

£200m+ of players leaving on frees, our best players leaving, PSR charges, monumental losses each season, gambling future TV revenue for advances, not expanding the ground, scandalous match day pricing, £25 charges for a physical season ticket etc etc

What would it take? 5 years in the championship doldrums? We want KP out before it gets that bad. A stitch in time saves nine.

Some might want King Power OUT but don't necessarily think it makes for a good banner. Far too simplistic and won't provoke a conversation.

TOP ambitions? Wrong decisions.

Also, we can't have it both ways. Our title win was so incredible because if anything our owners didn't actually invest that much in the playing side. Not saying they don't deserve credit for their part, but it was a collective effort. It wasn't like they were throwing billions at us to make us champions like Man City.

Blimey what’s got you so exercised, it’s just my view which is just as valid as yours, which I don’t disagree with on personal level. It’s just that I think it will not land with the wider public or the passive, KP loving element of our fanbase. The point is that the club's 'premier ambition' is rendered laughable by their consistent 'amateur decisions.'
It's a textbook example of incompetence.

Sorry, I was too blunt…  I see your point, mine was largely agreeing with you but in my typical terse way!

Kingpower sell up to new owners 🎉

New owners decide to keep Rudkin & Whelan in their current roles 🤦‍♂️

King Power are highly unlikely to sell up. However I'll be very surprised if Rudkin remains in his current role beyond this season.

Rudkin wouldn’t last 5 mins under an owner he’s not mates with.

Really?! I’ll be staggered if Top relieves him of his duties

No way will that happen

I think his position is untenable and Top will have to act. Even a leadership as slow to react as ours will not be able to ignore the shambles of our recruitment last summer and the perilous situation it has left us in. There were also rumours a month or so ago that we'd started to talk to candidates for the DoF role and although I can't verify them, I'm inclined to believe them as it would be astonishing if we weren't looking for a new DoF. Rudkin won't be sacked but will be moved aside to another role within the KP group.

I hope you’re right.

I assume your thoughts are in the minority though, as otherwise this whole plane banner would be half pointless and wouldn’t have taken off (pun intended)

Even if the club is planning to make changes behind the scenes, there is no harm whatsoever in keeping the pressure up until we know exactly what they're planning to do. I thought the original phrasing of the banner was much better, but I'm firmly behind the idea of a protest at the state the club is in.

The frustrating thing is that Enzo was telling the club a year ago that there needed to be major changes behind the scenes if we wanted to establish ourselves in the PL again. He was apparently shocked at how amateurish aspects of the club's operations were and had told them he'd only stay on if firm improvements were made. The club supposedly agreed to this and planned make those changes, but then Enzo left for Chelsea and all those plans left the building with him. It was a massive missed opportunity.

The guy has had so much time to try and put things right (as he said he would do when we last got relegated while spending about £180m on players...)

If you think Top has an chance of redemption then you're thinking emotionally or not thinking at all.

Is there any chance, as the police operate a drone around the stadium, after being alerted to this protest they can make it a no fly zone?

The plane wouldn't actually fly directly over the stadium, as you wouldn't be able to read it.

King Power Out is the best message; Rudkin out is not doing anything remotely he will be here untill King Power depart , Top does not give a shit simple as that, so targeting King Power is the right message and hopefully pressure the useless incompetent clowns.

Rudkin is King Power. That’s why he’s involved in King Power Racing and OHL.

Guys in the pub last night saying that this is all happening because nobody running the club will speak with the media, which is them turning their backs on the fans. We away fans should turn our backs and poznan every goal scored by Brighton, Wolves, Notts Forest and Bournemouth aside from serenading Jamie Vardy.

‘We did not speak to the people in good times so we will not speak to the people while Rome burns’ is a mad stance given we throw scarves and applause at them whenever it suits them to visit us.

Pretty much where I am.

If Rudkin and/or Whelan are replaced in the summer, there's no reason to lose King Power at all. Certainly don't agree with all their decisions or the creepy on-pitch family circus at the end of every season but a plane banner would be better aimed at the board and Rudkin rather than the family. Odd call to change it after the donations started too.

Honestly may as well just blame Wellens at this point, if you refuse to accept that the owner and chief decision maker isn't responsible for this mess then you never will.

I feel like we need to bring him back as manager so just he can shoulder the blame to be fair lol

Good lad Wellens, if he hadn't have got that ACL the plane would have a banner celebrating him.
