Don't care what other fans think. I'm only bothered about effectiveness.

1 - Plane flies over with 'King Power Out'

2 - Large proportion of fans boo it

3 - Top smiles, safe in the knowledge he has the support of most

4 - Nothing changes

It won't have the desired effect.

It will also give the media opportunity to report on the divided fan base taking the narrative away from the issues that we want addressing.

The protest needs to bring more people on side to apply more pressure, it’s clear that “king power out” will not achieve that.

5- Top goes home to his irate family asking why he’s bringing shame on their empire

6- Top has to explain that he’s trying his best, investing £100m+ per season but it’s all going wrong

7- His mum tells him to either sell the club or get a better DOF

8- Either way Rudkin is out, the plane has achieved its objective.

Rudkin tried to leave last summer anyway from what I've heard. I'd be amazed if he's our DoF next season.

Why would the family be irate if it's clear they have the support of the majority? Does his Mum even have or exert influence?

There's no weight behind a looney minority. And that's how it'll come across.

Yeah, not a great argument.

I don't think anyone was glad that we sacked Ranieri in the sense that we all loved him but it was the right decision. You never get the good press for those decisions when it turns out to be a good one but you get the bad press from those who don't see the full picture.

I'm pretty sure we got some stick for sacking that goblin from NI but that was the most united I think I have ever seen FT on a manager related decision - and we've been through our fair share.

It's also kind of not spoken about how hated our owners were after that decision. The tragedy rewritten a lot of how they became viewed again but up until that everyone wanted us to go down. Spoken about in very different terms now to back then.

We were proven right to sack Claudio but the club still carries the baggage. One of those instances that is used as a stick much like those ignoramus idiots that think they're being clever reviving the 2002 administration.

That's everyone else's problem. We owe nothing to the rest of the game. I really think Aiyawatt is quite weak though and takes the opposite view.

I've seen that email tonight with the new proposed message - I'd not be against that either.

It needs to be pretty on the nose. This has a pop at both Aiyawatt and Rudkin - which is good with me.

If he shot out in a mardy at half time after seeing a few goals hit our net at various times this season, then to those saying he will ride out the message because G2 will boo it are in for a surprise I feel.

In response to the "Go Fund Me" update;

Personally, I am happy with any disruptive action (that is legal) and messaging to suit. Thanks again to the organiser for taking on the responsibility.

If I had 100% of the vote in deciding a message, I would probably reiterate my support for the message being "Sack the board", as I think it brings the heat onto the whole decision making caucus.

Again, I am grateful to the organiser. Well done. 💪

I don't think people realise how much of a piece of work Top is. The only board member that speaks to him directly is Rudkin, the rest of the staff have to go through his PA to even contact him.

He has direct lines with players, who he goes to ahead of the manager often. He doesn't care about the city, and spends no time here. It's a very toxic situation and the only way to recover this is if King Power go.

Whatever king power have done for the club in the past doesnt mean they'll secure our future. We need new ownership. Rudkin being a problem is a product of Top being incompetent.

I assume this is just your opinion, or do you have evidence to back up your post.

I'm not looking for an argument my friend, but your first two paragraphs are quite damning, and have a mild "ITK" esq feel to them.

(No, I'm not saying your are an ITK)

This obsession with what other fans think is partly what's got us into this mess. Fundamental weakness.

Yeh but our fans on this forum and the world at large are/is fundamentally weak. There will be a backlash to this. You can guarantee loads on here will spend time justifying why the banner is needed and why clickbait media is wrong. I agree it is weak but what can you do.

I’ve not heard Rudkin tried to leave, but if he did then demonstrations will help to seal the deal.

They’d be irate because Thai family honour is a huge deal, and tbh I used “mum” as a disparaging way to express family (Ie. His mum told him off).

It might come across as a loony minority, and no matter what the message that may be how they choose to see it. Does that mean we should enjoy our larb flavoured snacks and keep quiet whilst watching our club fall through the leagues???

Interesting post… Is it based on direct knowledge / whispers / rumours?? I’d love to know!

Not a massive fan of "King Power out". Feel like it could be worded better. From a PR perspective, this will be seen as delusional and ungrateful by the majority. I get the point, and don't disagree with it, but King Power have been incredible for this club. But for a horrific accident, they still would be.

The wording seems a bit ignorant to me, and I say this as someone who is as desperate for a new direction as the next man.

No, I'm as for the plane as anyone. But the current message invites criticism. Without unity, the message lacks strength.

Just seen the update. It's definitely better than 'King Power Out''.

Would still prefer one of the earlier messages but this one shouldn't be a problem.

Unity is impossible to achieve with 30,000+ people, even for the lesser number of active Foxestalkers (I wonder how many that number is??) it’s an almost impossible task.

A good proportion is all that can be achieved. If we try to get “vast majority” or “unity” then good becomes the enemy of perfect and inertia will prevail

I can't get my head round this.

If he wanted to leave, why didn't he just leave?
