ST holders not renewing like myself and my son will be very difficult to get back if there is ever change at the top. I for one will not pay for a membership and the outrageous matchday prices and ST will always be hard to get back. So I'm lost for good now.

And this @davieG says it all. You and your son are part of the lifeblood of this club and it's awful to hear and see :(

I expect tomorrow to be our lowest PL attendance probably since this stadium opened.

Have you ever seen so many tickets available for a home game in the last 10 years.

Can see them giving Vardy a new contract just to try and keep fans happy.

He’s the goat, but that wage is part of the reason why we can’t spend as much on new talent

Had a look for a family of 4 just for laughs and it came to £107 in the corner of the family stand.

You've got to be off your rocker at that price in the hope of being entertained.

For comparison, a day out at Drayton for a family of 4 is £110.

Loads left in most blocks, £51 to sit in the Kop is a disgrace. Could be half full in the home stands tomorrow if season ticket holders don’t bother.

I used to get ticket for £5 at Uni

Never forgot them scrapping the student season ticket so I had to pay full whack at a time I was at college in Nottingham. Only for them to just hand out tickets to the two Universities every week. Jim from club shop just said he took my words on board. Nice of him as always.

Ruud is right, there will be ample happy clappers and those comfortable in the matchday routine and social aspect, regardless of how the club is run or the quality on the pitch.

Yes, probably all football clubs in this country take their fans for granted but its those same fans that have a choice.

If the KP is regularly at 50% capacity next season i will suck a dick cos it just isnt going to happen:brendan:

You know its sad times when  not one poster signed up to be first on the list. Everyone's just as limp as our squad lol.

A very large part of it reported to be on £7 m a year

Had a very similar conversation today.

Only twelve or so years ago the club was begging fans to commit to season tickets.

It is more or less the same administration that now refers to that same stable of fans as 'legacy' fans and is actively appealing for others to buy tickets. Even going as far as giving away tickets in away ends to fans of the home team.

This isn't just being taken for granted. It's being treated with contempt.

But Ruud is right. We are born and we live as Leicester fans. It's a very perceptive view from someone that played for Man Utd and Real. You could read it as 'This is a small club whose fans have nothing else and won't go anywhere'.

Im a season ticket holder living in bristol not bothering tmrw as i cannot justify a round trip of 240 miles on a monday night to watch the shit that is being shown from our overpaid pre madonnas.

ive supported city for 50+ years of which the last 40 yrs being a season ticket holder who has seen plenty of bad times and good.

somehow though this seems different to all the other bad times in our history and i include dropping down to division 1 in that.

The club has become so detached from the fan base its actually criminal imo. The way the board are treating the support is so damaging i can see loyal fans (home and away) like myself jacking it in. If the board want tourists who spend £200-£300 every home game on shirts food beer ect then so be it but if this team was ever to re visit league 1 again or spend the next 10 yrs in the championship then the tourist will go elsewhere and the club will be f****d.

But you are..

Those who won't go aren't fair weather. It's because we care. And i  may cases, it's harder to miss a game as well lose  the excuse 'to get out of the house' ...

I'd suggest many of the 'thick and thinners' might be driven by perhaps selfish needs

Season ticket holder, but probably won’t bother tomorrow. Four months since we last saw a home goal. I have a two hour drive each way so really can’t face it. If I don’t go, it’ll be the first time I’ve ever not gone through choice

Well I’ve stuck it out for 60+ years rarely missing a game in that time I’m not sure what your definition of loyalty is but it must be different to mine.

Thats just one block for monday and its  virtually the same all around the ground.

clearly heading for lowest attendance at home in the league this season.

couple this to away allocations being reduced due to demand i think the club should be very very concerned.

Hope someone buys my 2 in sk3!

Think about Preston away last season and the party at Deepdale.

Things can change in a season. Positivity can be built.

That’s the thing though, nothing had changed had it?

I was there at Deepdale that night, and it was great, but last season just temporarily papered over cracks.

The off-field running of the club is as bad as it was 3 years ago and, unfortunately, that will always win out over the long term so that any positive change is only temporary.

They're doing 'discounted' £25 tickets for UHL NHS staff to try and get bums on seats. Not sure if it's a regular thing but I've been in my job nearly a year and it's the first time I've seen them trying to flog them to us. lol

Think I'd rather do a night on a trauma ward than watch tonight's game to be honest.

I think I'd rather be your patient.

Its laughable the club expect "fans" to renew/keep buying tickets.

Its not one miserable season but years of dumb****ery going unpunished for years that sees us where we are right now.

I dont care whatever anyones reasons are for "staying loyal", you are fools:brendan:

People would be more understanding if there was a plan that was shared with the fanbase, or an apology for how bad this season has been.

But everyone knows when we're relegated we'll get a statement that boils down to "trust me bro" and blames PSR.

https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/leicester-city-ask-blind-loyalty-10084458

Asked what there is to look forward to for fans next season as they consider buying season tickets, van Nistelrooy said: “I think the Leicester City fans, they're born as Leicester City fans and they have always supported the club through thick and thin.

“That's what football is about, and I think that will always stay. It's our responsibility to bring back the club to a place where the fans can be proud of it again.

“But I think the dedication to the club and how fans supported us through thick and thin, it will always continue.”

That sums it up. City fans are essentially being asked to show blind loyalty and hope their good intentions are rewarded.

It may be. It was last season in the Championship, when Enzo Maresca's side provided plenty of moments that will live long in the memory en route to the title.

But at the moment, the club are struggling to offer any hope that there will be a repeat in the second tier next term.

For those still on the fence ahead of Wednesday’s season-ticket deadline, let’s just hope that City show something, anything, on Monday night that reminds them of why matchdays at the King Power are worth forking out for.

Seems like they think they can do what they like and fans will still pay up.

What happened last season that will live in memory?

As far as I remember the seasonal and football was dull as dishwater.

TBF the two games we lost 1 nil while I was away on holding and we had one shot on target (if I remember right) between both games will stay in my memory).

Unfair calling loyal supporters “happy clappers” my father in law has missed less than 50 games in his 50 years going “down the city”

he will go every game next year as long as he is fit and healthy

he supports his club … he can’t stand the Board

Maybe unfair to lump everyone into that category but you get the point.
