Maybe the revolving door days around 2004-08 but even then there was the hope of some coming good! To be fair Iain Hume and Patson Daka are probably on a par. We just pay these players £100k per week now...

Put some respect on Hume's name, I guarantee he's got a much better goals to game ratio for Leicester than Daka

Watching Hermansen lately i hope someone is nailed on to take him and the deals already done. Because he's been one of the worst keepers in the league since he came back from injury.

I have to agree - the lobbed shot from Schar just showed how much he's regressed in the last few months. 

 

But it's probably quite an unpopular opinion on here....I think if we get a £15-20m offer we should snap their hands off and we will of trebled or quadrupled our outlay, as I think he was £5m when we picked him up.

Its a real problem. If he had carried on his early season form i think we would have got good money. But he's been worse than Jakub was and really shouldn't be starting. Another season in the Championship where we are likely to only be top 10 pushing for playoffs isn't going to improve the valuation. £15mil if we are lucky.

Hermansen has always been susceptible to a long range effort like that. It was tried numerous times last season but no-one has been good enough to pull it off. 

Whilst he's not been super-human since his injury I think it's harsh to say he's been that bad. He has credit in the bank to give him benefit of doubt, but it could scupper a move for him.

No way does it make sense to sell skipp unless we cover his amortised value (which we won’t ) 

All wages will drop in the championship so they’re sustainable

But daka/soumare/winks won’t want to stay and their wages (even reduced) are v high 

They will probably get offered comparable deals to this elsewhere and given they only have a year left they’ll surely go for low fees.   Ruud will not be making friends in the boardroom by sacking off winks. That’s going to cost us money on his fee.

Some of those figures are optimistic - £5m for Ayew - who's paying that!? Likewise for Vestergaard. 

 

I don't see the club selling 13 players for only £5.8m profit. Where would the money come from to replace them?

It is little/nothing to do with the transfer fee we might be able to negotiate even if we agreed to let them go for nothing.  If the player is still in contract  (which all bar Vardy, Ward and Iveson are) and they can’t agree personal terms then they are not going anywhere until their contract expires.  Even after relegation clauses most of the wages will still be far too high for the kind of club that would be interested.

 

The effect of Rudkin’s incompetence is not going to fully unwind for 4 years even if he left today.
