No matter how shit we are, no matter how disallusioned I am, I will always cheer an equaliser like I think we’re gonna go on to win / stay up / the goal actually mean something in grand scheme of things. In this case it doesn’t but it was good not to lose for once anyway

They went out there and were competitive for many parts. That’s it, all that is needed. No one is asking to win the league. It’s not that hard.

I mean that second half was decent.

 

Mavididi, BEK, Kasey all excellent.  Soumare woke up and even Daka looked quite dangerous.

 

If they play with that freedom for the rest of the season i’ll feel a lot happier going into the season.

 

They actually looked like they gave a shit today.

2 goals, maybe Kingy is starting to have an impact, and wow we actually can progress the ball if we don’t play 2 left backs. Well done Ruud. Genius mate. Let’s be right though, if Brighton had anyone today who could finish their dinner they’d have won by 3 or 4 goals. Still bilge served up by the worst manager in our history.
