They must have done structural work to the stadium, when UFS asked to do a winch about 8 years ago we were told that the roof isn't strong enough!

Must have missed that crucial structural work to the stadium! There's no way they would have lied to us surely.

Was that after doing it themselves for the CL games lol

Nobody is celebrating the season people will be thanking possibly the best player to ever play in a Leicester shirt

Yeah. Badly worded.

In terms of needing a win i’d argue with our finances we’d need to win both games as the prize money for finishing 18th is over a million pounds more than for finishing 19th.

I wouldnt say i’m angry but i’m of the opinion that there is still something to play for this season which will impact our future and we should not be allowing players legendary or not dictate wether they are available.

Are you an Auditor or Accountant? You seem to have no sense of romance or emotional ties to our legend who has impacted so brilliantly on our fans and club. Only seeing £ signs when it’s not going to make a great deal of difference. Those who have said it’s been like playing with 10 men when he plays will be glad he’s out next week. Like someone else has says, it’s so fitting for him to be saying goodbye to a stadium that has had so much enjoyment and wonderful moments from him, than a stadium where the majority are going to be throwing abuse at him about his wife.

Me and my son will be watching it all live on peacock tv in America. Hope NBC does the full lead up coverage given the occasion.

after all Vardy & Leicester gave worldwide audiences a season to remember! The viewing numbers must have been off the charts. Everybody wanted us to win it was a true fairy tale.

I’m sorry but when the future of the club and any success we may have is intrinsically tied to finances romance and sentimentality can take a back seat.

Theres nothing stopping a send off on Sunday, theres nothing stopping the club from organising a carnival/party at the end of the season to celebrate everything Vardy has achieved and like it or not there shouldnt be anything stopping him from playing against Bournemouth and doing the job he’s paid to do.

I think its a nice touch for Vardy to end his time here on exactly 500 appearances and 13 years to the day of signing.

I just hope he gets his 200th goal,  and the club manage to get a rare thing right, and give him the send off he deserves.

PSR is not going to be rectified by Vardy playing Bournemouth!  Nor is it his fault or responsibility.  He has given us our best memories. All any of us should care about is giving him the best send off, enjoying the day, creating memories....nothing else!

We can deal with Top, the board and psr and all their other fiascos afterwards.

Sunday is about Vardy....nothing else!

Again theres a couple million quid difference between 18th and 19th and for a relegated club with finances as mismanaged as ours that couple million could be all the difference.

Theres nothing absolutely nothing stopping Sunday about being Vardys day and everyone enjoying it and celebrating the player just like theres also nothing stopping him from playing the week after either. We arent in a position to be excluding our best player and handicapping ourselves for sentimentality.

A lot of people dont want to accept it but with PSR this is the reality of football now.

Organise a party? Care to cost that for a us?

I’m fairly sure it would bring in more money than it would cost and you know it.

There is not a lot of sentimentality left in the game or life! For one game I don't care about PSR or how far the owner and the club have allowed the club to fall.  We have had enough misery. I take your point but honestly sometimes stop worrying, forget the money and actually cheer as my God we haven't had much to cheer about lately!

Yeah, honestly just gets to the point where you think why are you lieing again. Just be honest and say we don’t want you to do one.

You seem very angry by my opinion? In what world would an open stadium event charging a nominal fee for entry with lots of performances and stalls set up around the stadium etc to celebrate our greatest ever player and his achievements not make money?  You’ve engaged in bad faith the entire time because my opinion doesnt match yours or the herds for that matter.

Blimey Dames give it a rest man, your more miserable than me!

you DO know how much we waste on players wages and how ineffectaive we are as a club at the moment.

What difference is 1 couple of million going to make to this incompetent crew- all they will do it get a dog training facility at Seagrave for looking after players dogs.

On a purely football basis what the point in playing Vardy at Bmouth anyway when we know most of the season he has been ineffective- we need to move on without him hence the last home game is ALL about him.

He wouldnt make much difference at Bmouth:thumbup:

Its not misery its just an unbiased non emotional view of the situation, at some point high professional standards need to return to the club, i’ve never argued against a celebration not at all just the decision to handicap ourselves for the last game of the season and potentially allowing the player to dictate that.

Vardy is still the most effective option we have.

People can mock all they like with pictures of spreadsheets etc but it wasnt me who made the rules, it isnt me whos consistently f’d up the clubs finances and god forbid I care about the club enough to keep one eye on the future with these stupid rules.
