Confirms my thoughts that if he was here for the full season we'd have broken Derby's record.

Oh man don't. A full season with Van Nistelrooy and we're definitely breaking all unwanted records. He should be long gone.

Is this the first game of the season we'll have gone into as favourites?

If there was some obscure way that both teams could lose at say 1,000,000/1 - I'd be lumping on! 🤣

Betfair exchange has us favourites - just.

2 interesting bets. Lower odds for 'both teams to score' and 'over 2.5 goals'.

Its like the world hasnt seen us play. Ive not placed a bet in years but i'm considering putting a few quid on 'no' for both teams to score and 'under 2.5 goals'.

There is just no way we're more likely to win this. They've actually been in a few games recently, we're no hopers every week. Plus the fact they've scored in 5 out of their last 6 and we haven't scored at home since the Ship of Theseus first sailed.

0-1.

I'd be all over the opposite, but they clearly seem them as likely to happen as I do lol

That feels about right, more likely to win than Saints but also more likely not to win. A battle of two awful teams with terrible stats, odds marginally favouring the home team.

Saints haven't won since the start of Feb, but that was against Ipswich which feels like a fair comparison to us. That is their only away win so far.

The bar is so low for us I'm just hoping that we score.

That's right. We've been fleeced.

We will be insipid, gutless, cowardly, weak, non-committal, slow, second to every ball and an utter, utter disgrace.

Wash the car. Take the kids swimming.

Wasn't Facundo concussed last week? If so, he'll be out and McAteer will be in.

Didn't realise Ricky is out too...Not gonna lie its time to call it for him with us and I love him! You simply cannot be available 10 games a season.

He's under contract until next summer and nobody will buy him given his injury record, so he'll almost certainly be with us next season.

Didn't say he would go! But his time is overdue.

so RVN said a number of youth players will be on the bench, sod that you moron,

play them instead of these ego maniac idiots in the first team

Absolutely. We're likely to get behind some kids trying but more likely to boo the usual hapless bunch of egotistical non triers! If it wasn't for Vardy we wouldn't be going again this season. Actually, just remembered that I've accidentally organised something else this Saturday anyway, such is my interest! Will give him a cheer against Ipswich no doubt.

We'll lose. The only question is which. Saints player the Dutchman will celebrate with at the end .

I'm guessing nobody as he'll deem them unworthy of his presence. Back to form at Forest though, where he'll be running like David Pleat straight for Gibbs White.
