I guess it’s suggesting that we can raise funds by selling some players off. Which is a fair point in that scenario but the players are absolutely wank, so makes no sense.

But we have a proven track record of not being able to sell players when they don't have release clauses.

No one that has watched him the last 3 seasons is paying that money for him. Then there's the issue of his injury record. 

 

Don't forget he reportedly touted himself around when his contract was last up, got no offers that he fancied (IE nothing in the prem, when he would have been a free signing), and then signed for us again. He's older and shitter now and clubs will need to pay £9m for him.

Contracted until the summer 2027, wonder if we could command a bit more? Not read the article but I guess not if its a relegation release clause. 

 

Yeah he's not been the Wilf of 2020-21 but 8.5 years at a club is pretty unusual, spent most his career with us!

Wages might be lower now but can't see how someone wouldn't take a gamble on his on a free last year but will pay £9m now. 

He's a really limited footballer but I'd have no complaints if he's still here next season.

Zero chance anyone pays £9m for him, come on! lol

 

He'd have gone last Summer for free if anyone outside of Leicester rated him.

 

He'll be here next season, and should be pretty useful for us.

Speaks volumes this article is out there. Just release the information and get his name out there. He clocked off about two months ago which is a deep shame as he’s been a very good and honourable player for the club

Bare in mind we supposedly got offers of 10 for Kasey, 5 for Thomas, got 10 for Cannon and Wilder fancies Hamza. There's enough idiots out there.

£9m squad filler who is nowhere near the level those clubs are at...

 

Sounds like the sort of buisness we've been doing lately!

 

I think they'd have more sense, but happy to be proved wrong...
