Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl could reportedly make the final shortlist for the Rangers vacancy.
The 36-year-old appears to be on the verge of leaving Hillsborough, having intensified speculation with indicative comments on his future.

He has spoken of his time as Owls boss in the past tense and insisted owner Dejphon Chansiri is aware of the decision he has made on his future.

Championship-bound clubs Southampton and Leicester City have both been linked with Rohl, as have Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig.

So thats one manager potentially down ensuring that we get left with the biggest shower of useless shit available as the club piss around until June 30th

The amount of jobs he's linked to makes me feel the Saints job isn't as wrapped up for him as we may have previously thought.

He's definitely top 3 target for me

It was all baseless speculation anyway, nobody could ever provide a source, just football rumours, Wednesday themselves said there was no deal in place according to talksport.

Martin would demand more in wages? I would rather they went with Rohl he has a higher managerial ceiling? £2m in the grand scheme of things isn't a lot.

nah come on, the club has the chance to get Carlos Corberan in the summer, they was interested in him too, CC was too, he had a release clause around £3/4mil i think

but did the club go for him? no of course they didnt

they spunked £5mil on a 32year old winger and £22 mil on Skipp

as much as we'd want Rohl, the morons running this club wont do that or even think about it

Especially as they had a £3m windfall on Sunday. It won't be that simple, though.

So would i but its just not happening. We wanted the West Brom manager last year who would of been a closer fit to Maresca but wouldnt pay the compensation. We took the cheap option in Cooper and fcked ourselves. Leopard doesnt change its spots

Hi Lox! There were rumours there would be news yesterday and today.

Lets hold out for 'no news is good news'.

Powell and Pederson are both out of contract by the way, so it would just be Rohl's compensation, guessing that might have brought the figure down a bit recently?

Rohl definitely gives the club/fans a bigger lift than Martin. Also, it seems like the club going after another clubs manager would show some intent and as if there's been some thought behind the appointment, not just who's out of work.

Go on then. Give your reasons showing all your workings out, also proving you are not under the influence of something narcotic (or skinny jeans).

And saying 'hes banging Lucy Pinder' does not count.

I would suggest about 95% of the fans who sit around me have never heard of Rohl.
