Ruud is the worst manager in the EPL ever,   Probably the 2nd worst manager during my lifetime behind Sousa for me.

Ruud has done so bad he is probably done in management once he leaves us.

I would even consider Martin an upgrade over him which says a lot.

But he’s working with shit. Statistically he could well be low or bottom on many indicators. I’ve not been impressed with his man management or ability to get people to try, but again a lot of these problems have been around for much longer than he has. I don’t think he’s done in management and coaching personally.

He is running the 100m's whilst pulling a tractor, so I am not surprised his stats are cack.

The fact he wears wellingtons (Not clogs :nono: ) whilst going it is 100% on him though

Martin might see it as the ideal time to take over then and restore a languishing juggernaut to former glory and with it his reputation.

Naw, I can definately see the appeal. It CAN be a doorway back to a mid table PL but you can always end up getting sacked by a team in the Cypriot league like Neil Lennon too.

I think a lot of people outside of Scotland also don't understand the pressure OF managers are under. It's different to how it is in England.

He most definitely is part of the problem, but he isn’t the root of the problem. It sounds very much like he’s been hung out to dry somewhat, yes statistically he’s our worst ever manager, but there’s certain factors to consider, for example he’s not got any of his own staff, he came in on his own… and he hasn’t been able to sign anyone on January (I’m not counting Coulibaly, he’s just a waste). So whilst he’s been poor, it hasn’t been without deeper rooted problems above him.

His press conferences clearly show there’s no comms between him and the board room, he keeps mentioning conversations that need to be had, and alignment….. I get the impression that when Ruud sees Rudkin in the corridor, Rudkin quickly runs away diving into the cleaners cupboard to avoid him.

Unless you’ve got the bollocks of Maresca, it sounds very much like being the manager of LCFC can be a very, very lonely place when things aren’t going well.

I have a degree of sympathy for Ruud, but I’m not suggesting he’s done a good job. But he’s not the first manager to suggest there’s communication problems from Brendan, Maresca and latterly Ruud they’ve all said things that make me wonder if anyone speaks to anyone at all.

See I don’t get all this hung out to dry, the fact of the matter is that the time he was announced their was constant speculation that we would breach PSR, there was history of what Rudkin had done with Rodger’s regarding transfers for almost identical reasons. If a manager is that desperate for a job, (rejected by Burnley, linked to Coventry) don’t complain further down the line when you either haven’t done your due diligence or  didn’t care enough to consider what might happen at the time.

Both helmets, and both need removing.

Totally agree with this.

What this season has shown me is sacking the manager no longer has the impact it maybe once had.

Of course there are exceptions (Wolves and Everton seem obvious) however Leicester, West ham, Southampton, Man U etc can all point to no improvement.

Without funds for a new manager to bring in any of their new players, coupled with an existing bank of poor players, you are expecting a lot for a manager to turn things around.

Not to dismiss the fact RVN has been every bit as bad as I feared he would be.

How far between Sheffiels and Leicester?

Not sure why no one has understood I meant he’s ruling out Southampton because he’s settled which makes us a good option….

I really like the Wolves manager. I am not suggesting we try and get him! What I like is he has bought together the player and fans. His points haul is impressive but he seems to get that the team needs the fans and vice versa. Also popping to the local and becoming part of the community. It may not last and they will no doubt be trying to hold onto players this summer and then having to replace them. That is the sort of manager we need. The Bournemouth manager is also doing a great job and they play exciting football. We need to get back to being a well run club and so changes need to be made and soon, before the next appointment otherwise we will end up building a house on sand.

Yep, someone with a bit more life experience, not kids trained on Football Manager.

Has Rohl said he’s settled in the area then?

I'm now imagining Mick Brown cutting about the Football insider office referring to himself in the third person like he's The Rock doing a 90s WWF interview segment lol

Journo 1: Mick, is that article done yet?

MB: Who, iiin the blue hell are you? Shut up jabroni, the people's chief scout is talking.

Fiiiiiiinnnnnnaaaallllly, Mick Brown has come back...... to Blackburn. Mick Brown has something to say, about Danny Rohl rumours, and the Football insider website editor asking if Mick Brown has a source for Mick Browns story. Who is this rudy-poo jabroni, to question theeee most electrifying man in Football and Journalism? The FI editor needs to take those questions, bring them home, shine them up real nice, turn them 90 degrees sideways, attach them to Mick Browns unsubstantiated Danny Rohl article, take them to the website server and stick them up it's candy assss. If yooooooouuuu smmmmmmeeelllll, what Mick Brown....is cooking (attempts to raise a single eyebrow and his glasses fall off).

He off again

Ex Premier League talent spotter Mick Brown says Saudi Arabia could be on the cards for the Celtic hero as per his information, and America isn’t off the table. That’s because his latest move has turned calamitous and the options available to him will not be plentiful.

From what I’m told, there are clubs in the MLS and Saudi Arabia who have been looking at him, so that could be their best bet. He wasn’t sure about the move to America, but to be frank he might not have much of a choice. After struggling in the Premier League, to the point where you can’t get a game for a relegated side, it’s difficult to know where he goes from there. But it won’t be at Palace, that’s for sure, so it would be best for all parties if they could sell him on.”

Wait till we've played Ipswich and Southampton (2 teams that Cooper needed massive luck to win :D )

I never want people to forget just how bad we were under Cooper. We could barely muster a shot and his weird tactics gave the opposition the freedom of their left wing to attack.

It's definitely better than it was, when I say better... I mean it's more balanced. Teams can run through us on either wing or through the middle lol

I dunno if you are worse if you didn't employ any of the shit backroom staff, didn't have a say in any of the shit players brought it.

Its like being given a turd to clean a bathroom.

He's got a decent reputation in Germany but I'd be surprised if he's done enough as a head coach to get any of those three jobs tbh.
