I'm far from the most knowledgeable or eloquent on the subject of gambling and its issues, but I think a few folks are being ostriches, as Bige Nigel would say.

Yes, many people can enjoy a flutter for a bit of fun. No damage done. Same as many folks can enjoy a drink without consequences. But both gambling and alcohol are addictive substances to a significant number of people. They have a higher propensity than most things to cause addiction, and damage—if not destroy—the lives of people and their families. Allowing our club to act as an advertising board for a gambling company is broadcasting them to not only vulnerable adults, but also our children. The latter can opt out of having said sponsor on their shirts, but not on the shirt of their favourite player.

It's not about whether you've done it before, it's being conscious of how these things affect other people.

If you look hard enough, there will always be somebody affected by something. Until it’s illegal, it’s fair game.

I have a particularly harrowing connotation with the effects of alcoholism. But I also understand that it’s my grudge to bear, and I choose to not cry about Bia Saigon being on the sleeve. It’s part of being an adult and understanding that not everything is about you.

There’s some cracking kits this year. Burton Albion’s third kit is a stunner!

I really liked Leyton Orient’s kit that they played in the playoff final. Unique.

I thought the issue with BC Game & K Bet, amongst fans, is more to do with the fact that they do not have a license to operate in the UK, rather than the morality of betting and influencing others to do it.

They're wanting £60 for that training top, outrageous pricing

In real life it's awful.

The one they play in at the moment is the nicest by far and the cheapest

I saw that, I'm close enough to Burton to have one and claim them as a 2nd team :ph34r:lol

Did Everton supporters have an issue with Stake.com? Or were they passive because the logo looked ok?

Can’t say I’ve taken any interest how other clubs operate or how their fans feel.

You can’t compare Stake.com with the possible new sponsor Kbet if it does turn out to be one of the options, Stake.com did have a uk license until a few months ago when they surrendered it, They have been around for more then a few weeks and are pretty far from being a fly‑by‑night operation

Why does it have to be a case of which is less shit? Can we not just take a stand and not want it at all?

That’s fair enough. I only noticed today that they didn’t have a UK license.

I think the black third/away kit could be very similar to the Nottinghamshire CCC Vitality blast shirt

The third kit won’t be black as the away kit is navy. It needs to be light.

St Helen’s rugby leagues stadium is sponsored by a vape company, I think I know which is more damaging.

This just feels like an incredibly thick post

So we must assume that we either have a pink home shirt this year or we are releasing our away kit first.

Either is quite a bold choice.

Would explain launching away first as on the leaks the home kit had the sponsor on but not the other
