Might be an unpopular opinion but if I was Newcastle or Man United I definitely would have tried to get Darwin Nunez this summer.

Maybe Liverpool wouldn’t let him go to another Premier League side but think he’s wasted in Saudi. I get all the jokes about him not being clinical but if it clicks for him he could be deadly.

He's ****ing terrible.

Almost DCL levels of terrible.

All the kids on Merseyside will be wearing Frimpong wigs next week  lol

That headband would get right on my tits, it looks like it's half covering his eyes!

Looks a competitor.

Maddison (and KDH maybe) should study how Wirtz is moving and creating space. Effortlessly with simple moves and vision. It's not rocket science what he's doing.

Maddison can do it, but he's streaky and his forms suffers badly after injuries.  KDH I think is just a completely different type of player.

Maddison lacks the vision of Wirtz and he's afraid to get more involved, maybe because his injury prone as you said. I know KDH is a different type of player but I'm talking about the ability to move the ball quickly. Wirtz knows how to shake the opposition defense with simple moves.

Liverpool booing god save the queen again to appear edgy. Buying tickets to watch a bunch of millionaires bought for hundreds of millions of pounds, that'll really stick it to the man....

Liverpool fans attempted reinvention of themselves as an anti-establishment, socialist fanbase in the last few years has been very interesting to watch, but also quite bizarre.

Ermm... it's been "God Save the King" for the last three years.

And there's no real reason to play it anyway at a game between two English teams, even if his son is the FA president..

Palace's squad is clearly not the deepest.

They could struggle with the extra demands European competition will put on them.

I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool have "Over corrected" this summer.

Selling Diaz feels like a real mistake, Nunez potentially too, but to much a lesser extent. They seemingly had the perfect blend of Klopp's style, with Slot adding a little bit more caution/structure last Season. Whereas now, it feels like they're investing more heavily into this Structured way of playing, and I think it might backfire.

Diaz/Jota/Nunez is a lot of "Bite" and "Nastiness" (In a positive way). I fear they will be much more predictable now. Gakpo imo is the weakest of those 3 wingers, and he's the one which remains and looks to be their first choice out there. He and Salah are not "Pressing machines", and to get the best out of Salah, I think you need much more of an engine out wide on the other flank.

didnt forest have to put their owners shares in before march 1st too?

but they was still under Jabba's until April time wasnt they?

i dont get how its one rule for one then one rule for another

and as for forest's luck, people cant say they havent had any, as frankly they dont desvere to be in the europa league, just kinda shows playing even remotely by the rules doesnt work

and yes I know Palace should have had things in a row, but who honestly thought theyd win the FA Cup, all just stinks to me

Chelsea have been pretty impresive pre-season...any chance to challenge this season?

Chelsea 4 Benfica 1
Chelsea 2 Palmeiras 1
Chelsea 2 Fluminense 0
Chelsea 3 PSG 0
Chelsea 2 Bayer Leverkusen 0
Chelsea 4 AC Milan 1
