Pity that last season I don't recall there being anyone besides the 3 promoted sides to be obvious relegation candidates but this year you have Brentford taking the risk with Andrews as well as losing a few of their players, now Bournemouth have sold pretty much all of their defence. Still probably back then both to stay up though but annoying that I think it gives the new set of promoted sides a better chance than we had

Arsenal have spent 1bn Euros since Arteta joined. 

 

All there is to show is one FA Cup. 

 

That's desperately poor but they don't seem to get the negative airtime for it, at least Arteta doesn't anyway.

just put it in the predictions thread, they have a bad start i can see him coming up a lot of pressure. 

 

IMO He has been helped in recent years with how bad the likes of Utd, Spurs, Chelsea have been. For me they haven't finished 2nd because they have been good its because the others have been worse.

Wrong season for us to get relegated huh. Reckon one of the promoted clubs will stay up this year.

Arsenal probably need a better manager now to push them on, but he has done great  getting Arsenal back to being one of the better teams in the division and shipping out the players they had issues with.

They've never had that one player that could give them an edge and win the premier league, a salah, a haaland, kane etc...Emerick Aubameyang on his day was but had too many disciplinary issues.

 

I'd be very surprised if Arsenal do as well this season as last.

they are arguably stronger than last season with the additions of Zubimendi & Gyokeres especially but yes bettering last season means winning it which i can't see but think that last seasons top 4 will be the same it's just in what order, with Man U coming 5th

Looks like Palace are fvcked and Florist have got away it yet again even though they are just as guilty and as crooked as Palace.

 

Stavros didnt file his ownership change till the 1st april. But he was allowed too. And now from the 6th June he's back as owner.

 

Your telling me there's no dodgy UEFA backhanders going on there? The PL is a bent as a bottle of crisps. I'd rather stay in the lower leagues that put up with that load of bollocks. 

 

God i fvcking despise Florist.  More than Leeds or Any of the Manchester clubs.

Might be an unpopular opinion but if I was Newcastle or Man United I definitely would have tried to get Darwin Nunez this summer. 
 

Maybe Liverpool wouldn’t let him go to another Premier League side but think he’s wasted in Saudi. I get all the jokes about him not being clinical but if it clicks for him he could be deadly.

Another friendly for Forest where they've failed to score, this time against some Saudi club. Hope this season smacks them in the face

Best case scenario is they get dry bummed in Europe and the Premier League, and there are signs with how they ended last season as well as their atrocious preseason.

Always thought Tyrone Mings was a bit of a cock. Dealt with Greenwood well last night, fair play. 
 

Anyone reckon Chelsea for the league this year? Liverpool are going to be very strong and Man City will always be around it with Pep (swansong?). 
 

Arsenal will be nowhere near but will probably sneak 4th over Newcastle and Villa. 
 

I don’t miss it at all. The Championship is terrible, we should do well: 

 

Chelsea, Rangers, City… 450/1 

 

£200 down the shitter 😂
