There was a clear lack of ambition and vision from our board for years despite some successful seasons. A lot of players sensed that and wanted to check out.

I remember a lot of our players football started going poor in the last years of Brendan. The coaching stopped and the players would have noticed that, plus Brendans weak buys and fall out with some players added to the weak performances on the pitch

Nah. That's on forwards to press the GK. It's the same as any player holding onto the ball.

It's not the same. FWs can't press constantly the GK without firstly leaving gaps behind and secondly getting more and more tired. Are you watching the game? There must be a record here of backpasses to GKs and then holding onto the ball while everybody stands still doing nothing for half a minute. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Sky previewing the Palace/Spurs match and doing their usual schtick of speculating about which club a player will move to next, in this instance Wharton. It's disrespectful to the clubs which build up these players, and it perpetuates the greedy six line.
