As you said, hard to probably work out with the fact that every fee is undisclosed but looks like a lot of your estimates are on the low side. Probably better to have the highest estimate as it makes it slightly more palatable and less depressing when we can't sell them, if the book value is the reason

I don’t think the book values are on low side however the big issue is wages, but if reports are correct that this year wage reductions could be 45-55% will certainly make it easier and more attractive to potential suitors to do a deal and cover full wages

There should definitely be takers for the likes of Faes, VK, Soumare and Daka based on those. As others have said, wages are the issue.

Other clubs will fancy some of those prices as they will believe these players can have a fresh start. VK and Soumare had decent to good loans at European sides. Daka showed in a (albeit inferior to the PL) league in Europe that he can do it.

I think he’ll be a very good championship player. He didn’t get a decent run in the side or a full pre-season. He may surprise a few next season.

I expect he should be good in the Championship for how much we paid for him

Could have bought about 4 half decent youngsters whose value would have improved for what we'd paid for Skipp.

Even if we were doing nothing more than buying them to sell each for a few million profit each it's be better than tanking it on one man that had zero impact in the Prem.

Agreed pal we could have got Hayden Hackney for half of what we paid for Skipp and he would have had more of an impact and even if he left this summer would have made us a profit.

Looking at it we are pretty much aligned, the main differences being I may have Daka’s and Soumare’s valuations out of kilter as I had Daka at £20m and Soumare at £23m.

Okoli as I understand it was more like £7-8m up front with add ons etc taking it to the reported £13m.

VK I have him halfway through his contract at a fee of £11m.

Wasn’t VK like 20mill?

I thought it was about £12m plus addons which I very much doubt we’ve met any of

My calculations - it's all internet guesswork of course.

8 out of 25 players with 1 year left too. I think we'll struggle. We've been terrible at shifting players for a long while. Rumours of new relegation clauses being inserted into contracts, but then how, and why would players have accepted them?

If that's the case that there's big reductions in wages, then maybe it strengthens our position on trying to get rid of players with 1 year left. But it's not just about getting a transfer fee that matches the book value to avoid a loss, it's also about getting a fee that'll create profit, to reinvest in replacements.

It's hard to see who will be paying more than the above figures...

Skipp is wild. Not that we will, or can, but if we were to sell him, we'd be lucky to get half of his book value. What a terrible signing. Even if he's good in the championship, nobody pays £20m for a decent championship midfielder. Rotten!

Good work, with a spreadsheet already created, keep it going with transfers as they come in as it’s handy to know!

Only suggestion I would have is, include a column which states total expenditure per year.

The Coulibaly signing was a stupid overpay at £3m with 6 months left on his contract.

I know that we’ll never properly know but confident in saying he’ll have at least doubled his wages coming too.
