The squad tonight had 8 academy graduates in it, and one further graduate on the opposition team sheet. Which is amazing for the state of our youth development.

With the cup 3rd round coming up, could we possibly play an all youth graduate XI? And actually be competitive

It won't happen, but I think it'd be competitive against any league1/2 side for sure. Midfield seems the lightest, but only because Braybrooke and Cartwright are both out on loan.

I would imagine academy graduates will increase again on Thursday, with Hamza and Ramsey both going off injured and presuming vestergaard isn’t fit to make the squad.

Evans either injured then or with the first team. The former would explain why he's not been in the 1st team squad for a few weeks now.
