Being more generally palatable than Boris and Truss is barely an achievement.

The BBC News team doing a great job of pursuing the illegal vape shops etc. How on earth did local councils and other authorities allow them to set up in such numbers in the first instance?

Out of the lot of the rotten feckers Sunak showed abit of compassion, and there were alot less calamities and buffoonery.

He also talked well and wasnt a complete div and came across as a clever ****.

It really is. Genuinely can't remember when all the talk of car washes, Turkish barbers and dodgy cornershops started among people, but it sure as hell wasn't recently. Been happening for years, just a shame it takes the BBC to pull their finger out to highlight it, when most common folk knew it already. 

 

Still, time will tell whether it actually gets dealt with or not. From what I can see it's had £30mill thrown at it, hardly enough to make a dent up and down the country I imagine.

Yeah, and May wasn't bad, she just took the reins when Brexit was happening, did it in a fairly "soft" way, when people who had voted for it wanted it hard (as well as leaving Europe )

I also thought Iran's military was decimated? I thought Iran's missile capability was decimated. I thought their air force was gone? No....shocking!!

I don't condone rioting either but at this point I'm not surprised now. Surely nobody is surprised. These types of attacks are happening all too frequently and people get pissed off about it. But all that ever happens is it gets forgotten about, we move on, until it happens again, then people riot, then the murder that started it all gets forgotten about..

Attacks do happen most days and leave their mental or physical marks sadly. As I say you can't live your life in fear of it though. 

 

But sorry but I don't understand how the response to someone going about their daily life being attacked, is to strike fear and damage to property of people also going about their daily lives. People who had nothing to do with the original incident. Like you I'm not surprised because we live in a country moronic idiots. None of this takes away the concern I now feel for a family member living through this chaos, a concern that wasn't there when a lone lunatic was arrested after stabbing someone.

If I lived in Belfast, I’d be a lot more afraid that my life was in danger from violence in the streets, setting houses and cars etc in fire than from an immigrant in the streets to be fair. Just saying like….
