I haven’t really been following the WSL this season, as I’ve sort of fallen out of love with us.

However I’ve just had at the look at the table and we’ve scored 7 goals in 12 games! We have an xG of 0.9. That has got to be less entertaining than watching the men’s game.

Oh Matron.

I know she’s hot but is she any better than our current players?

Based on her time at villa very inconsistent. I do fear her outside interests seem to distract her from her football in recent times.

She’d do a better job than Luke Thomas, Ayew or Daka 😂

they need some start names to give people someone to come see, spend big for a couple of Lionesses or American stars, it'll help the team as well

Seems getting a name someone with a big following isn’t going down to well, think some are expecting Stanway to turn up here 😂

Some people are in the mentality that we should be the best team in the WSL and have a rude awakening when we sign non-world class players and/or lose a few games.

It's a step in the right direction at the end of the day.

I do think the move for Williams and now Lehmann is to set the foundations to perhaps attract bigger names in the Summer.

Williams at 38 won’t play every game, I don’t think Lehmann (if she signs) will either, 3 sub appearances at Como in 6 months, but I do think this does lay foundations for bigger things.

The biggest loss this season will turn out to be Janice, this will be a relegation/play off battle again regardless of whether Lehmann signs or not, West Ham game is a big one.

I agree in regards to the signings.

I don't think we are currently have a case for concern for relegation just yet, yes the West Ham game is huge and not getting a result there may drag us into it, but it's really a 4 horse race, in which we are at the top of the pile currently.

Liverpool are 5 points behind us, which doesnt sound like much, but with the rate in which they've picked up points so far, it's still a hill for them to climb.

I expect us to pick up a couple more points in this 2nd half of the season than the first, which should make us difficult for Liverpool to catch, and even of they did, I doubt both Everton and West ham are going to turn into world beaters too.

I see the Women’s side of the club is just as slow at processing transfers as the men’s.

Well the women's team have already signed 4 players in the window, not too shabby.

I doubt Lehman will be the last either.

Unironically probably the biggest boost to the club's social media following since we won the league.

What bigger than Choudhury's Bangladesh following?

I’ve been thinking about going to watch a LCFC ladies match again. Haven’t thought about going since I went to watch them play Villa a few years ago 👀😉

Only just announced and I am sure the engagement is higher than anything the women's team have seen before.

It's even made it onto the men's team socials too... Never seen before!
