JimJams Posted 23 August 2025 Posted 23 August 2025 After what happened to JJ it'll be a precaution so we don't fxxk a potential sale.

We are still paying him and hes dragging the squad down when he has a role in it to perform. I had hoped there was a chance he would stay but i hope this deal gets done quick now as we need reenforcements of our own.

A club with two years in the Championship and one in the Premier League would have a limit of £61 million. So 22m not 40m Plus we have massively reduced our wage bill. 1

I thought we’d done a work around which meant we managed to be higher than 83m and it was closer to 100m

winteriscoming Posted 23 August 2025 Posted 23 August 2025 I want him to stay but if he’s going I hope it doesn’t drag on till all of next week. These clowns won’t be looking at getting anyone in until he goes.

I can see Kristiansen, JJ and Faes following El Khannouss. Definitely a different approach this year. I think you see a few loan with options or obligations if we go up and maybe a couple of cheap perms. Edited 23 August 2025 by coolhandfox 1

Tielemans63 Posted 23 August 2025 Posted 23 August 2025 Eze to Arsenal confirmed. Going to be an interesting week. I like BEK, but good enough to replace Eze? I'm not so sure. 1
KFS Posted 23 August 2025 Posted 23 August 2025 Get this done. The league is crap and we’re doing well to reset while getting fees for crap we don’t want.

em9999 Posted 23 August 2025 Posted 23 August 2025 Would be a massive expectation to replace eze who in my book is a absolute baller and will excel at arsenal

I think another player sale was on the cards the club just didn't want anyone to know how much of a mess we were in.
winteriscoming Posted 23 August 2025 Posted 23 August 2025 I know he won’t want to but it would be better for him long term to have a season in the championship with us.
