Certainly looks that way. So, with £80m + coming in, might we actually see the three signings we need?

Be lucky to get 1 we actually need I reckon

3 is my guess,

We brought in around 80m last time we were in the Championship and spent 30m

So expect a few in.

He is gone isn’t he

Not necessarily, think its got more to do with him sulking in training at this stage.

Our psr allowance is around 40m less then last time

Which is even worse. We are still paying him and hes dragging the squad down when he has a role in it to perform.

I had hoped there was a chance he would stay but i hope this deal gets done quick now as we need reenforcements of our own.

Club spending two seasons in the Premier League and one in the Championship would face a limit of £83 million (£35m + £35m + £13m).

A club with two years in the Championship and one in the Premier League would have a limit of £61 million.

So 22m not 40m

Plus we have massively reduced our wage bill.

I thought we’d done a work around which meant we managed to be higher than 83m and it was closer to 100m

It wasn't confirmed as far as I'm aware.

Unlikely I would say.

that was mostly pure profit and we got lucky not having to submit a business plan that would’ve seen us have to sell KDH in August 23 to not breach

Which is why this time round we are shedding big earns like Vardy and Wilf, and the like of JJ, Winks are being touted for moves.

I can see Kristiansen, JJ and Faes following El Khannouss.

Definitely a different approach this year.

I think you see a few loan with options or obligations if we go up and maybe a couple of cheap perms.

But we have also got 9 players added from last season that were not previously on the wage bill to counter

Get this done. The league is crap and we’re doing well to reset while getting fees for crap we don’t want.

Eze to Arsenal confirmed. Going to be an interesting week. I like BEK, but good enough to replace Eze? I'm not so sure.

Completely different type of player to Eze. Any Palace fans thinking they are getting a like for like will be very disappointed

Surely a business plan could have shown selling kdh at the end of the season as we did? I think another player sale was on the cards the club just didn't want anyone to know how much of a mess we were in.

Can’t show future sales as part of your budget
