em9999 Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 When I was a kid I use to think priceless meant it was worth nothing But now I understand it means fatawu Can't sell him I'm not having it 1 1
Lesta2014 Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Panic deadline day bid from Everton coming in for him then.
chuddy8 Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 they sell him for anything under 60M and even then I'd be gutted and I'm going absolutely bananas 1

Guess what they are all still here stinking the gaff out whilst we added the likes of Skipp, Reid and to a lesser degree Ayew last summer which has only made the situation worse. Years of mediocre recruitment of players on inflated fees and bloated contracts has come home to roost, the one person who cannot be held to account is Marti who know has to cobble together a competitive side from what is here and how he is being directed to utilise the resources at his disposal. Some selections will have one eye on departures and having players in the shop window. I really feel for the manager given the shit show of a squad he has inherited as a result of piss poor recruitment and an inability to move on players. I see it differently. Stamp your own mark from the outset. He shouldn't be being directed by anyone. He's in charge. He's had opportunity to review footage of performances last season, look at stats., watch players in training. Not sure what kind of message it sends to the younger players waiting in the wings. Time will tell. I suspect, sadly, that he'll stick with the old guard.
MPH Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 why are we even giving Everton a price for Fatawu. We should be rejecting it with a “ not for sale”. 4

Dan Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Sell him and El Khannouss, late into a window with Rudkin leading the charge I think we'll do genuinely well to make the top 6 and that isn't even including a deduction. I'd normally be for trying to take big money but this would be total sabotage. Would create a fresh swathe of toxicity as soon as a new season started. Another manager screwed over as well. 1

LCFCCHRIS Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Trouble is, let’s say we get 40m then spunk 25m on the Oliver Skipp of the wing….

Some things are worth more than money and points deductions. Abdul and bilal are two players who give their all for this club and if we are to build for the future sometimes we have to make a stand and say no. Of course if one or both turn round and say they want to go then that is a different matter but if not then we have to stick to our values. We have to many players who aren’t bothered about being here and don’t put in the effort. We need to take back control of our future. 1

He is one of the first on the team sheet here and is pulling up trees. I don’t know how others feel but despite our current predicament the likes of Abdul and Bilal give me real hope for the future and are role models for our youngsters coming through. I really want one, they look amazing but sadly i fall very short of the valuation. "Can we get Fatawu for £20m?" Can I get a Ferrari for £20k? They have spent quite a lot of money, but they will also have higher PSR profit this year with the new stadium.

em9999 Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 (edited) Knowing rudkin he will sell fatawu For two bags of flour a pig and a turnip We won't have a team left ar this rate we are selling our souls faster than a drunk hooker Edited 12 August 2025 by em9999 1
Gerard Posted 13 August 2025 Posted 13 August 2025 I really don't want to watch a Leicester team without Bilal and Fatawu. I really hope both stay because we have hope with those two in the side, sell them and mid table with a prolonged stay in the Championship beckons. It's no coincidence that our only signing this summer is a free transfer of a 38yo reserve GK on a one year deal. Any player we sell will probably be replaced by someone already in the squad.
