Just felt now was a good time to resurrect this picture I took a while back at an away game to remind others of our fan base.

I apologise I didn't get in the sugar server and silver spoons but trust me, they were there. 3 china mugs, a sugar container, silver spoons and a flask of tea.

Can't tell you how much I despise what this club has championed and encouraged as a group of happy clapper fans and they deserve everything they have reaped.

Is that an honesty flag just behind the china cup as well? If it is the hierarchy must be absolutely frothing. Exactly what they want. Wave their little honesty flag and clap their KPFC clap banner and these have swallowed it hook, line and sinker.

having effectively had a lock out from new, younger supporters gaining access to season tickets for 10+ years has contributed to our aging fanbase demographic in my view

Mass non renewals this summer might open the door for some younger fans to get their hands on tickets

Honestly, as much it probably should annoy it doesn't.

That could be a photo of a pint and the person could have all the same characteristics, be technically as boring in the stands and as much of a happy clapper stood in their CP jacket.

We have a complicated fan base, it's not black and white.

Have seen a couple of videos from yesterday, one from our end, one from a Portsmouth stand showing our end of the ground.

Post match it looks like pretty much everyone was giving the players some stick. No doubt the coach one lot went early but it still looks 95% capacity and full of vitriol.

I doubt it’ll be the same at home, not sure if KPFC travels beyond the county before getting scared and wanting mummy.

Obviously that lock out can't be helped and old people have as much right to carry on supporting their club and renewing. It's the clubs structure not the older fans fault.

I hope this is a good chance to get some fresh bodies in though because we need it.

absolutely. I include myself as one of the "older folk" (although I'm not quite "Coach 1" with my flask and cheese sandwiches)

The failure to expand the stadium when we had the chance is the biggest reason for not getting new bodies through the gates

I admire this level of commitment albeit there are no saucers.

I can't help but feel a doily would have worked.

Fans settling for single use cups are the ones that need to look at themselves in the mirror IMO.

Just like to say that as an old (67) fan I've never taken anything into any ground with anything more than a packet of Haribo. I'm often reminded that I have a mental age of an 18-year old when it comes to the City.

I'm.not even that bothered if you take a fecking flask or teacups ffs.

I take an apple!!

Take what you want, BUT get behind the team when they deserve it, hice them some stick when they dont.

The thing I DONT unf6 is travelling for hours just to fecking sit there, arms folded and add nothing.

It's bad enough at KP but to travel away I mean what's the fecking point expect  to prove your a " proper fan" on Facebook

Interesting how many people have memed themselves into thinking the problem with our support and the club in general is people drinking coffee at games.

What if I'm drinking a latte at home and listening on the radio?

It's an issue, but it's not the only one- we have plenty of 'fighting age males' (to coin a phrase) who go and stand in silence too.

Or roll in late pissed out their mind (probably 2 shandies looking at some of them) and then try and goad the away support in a really cringy way like some Mitchell and Webb parody of a Danny Dyer programme.

I almost started writing about the contrast in attitudes between making a racket in the concourse then going up to watch the match in silence too, but I couldn't be arsed.

Can't beat a snickers, orange and a black coffee imo. Goated half time refreshments.
