Honestly, if we're not getting a new striker, you play Daka or you stick Mav up there and have someone like Monga as part of that three. Ayew offers less than nothing.

Hear me out - I'd rather Faes played in midfield rather than Soumaré

His ball-playing/carrying ability and runs from deep in the last Championship season were decent enough, and playing him further forward would mean he has two centre-backs behind him to mop up any of his brainfarts
