depends...... what's the value to us as a club to get promoted this year? more than £7-£10m? - if so.... you'd keep....

I don't think that promotion will be down to one player alone...

& I think he could be replaceable. I suggest looking at Spain, where they specialise in no6 playmakers. If sourced well we could end up with someone younger, of equivalent quality, & cheaper (!!!!).

There isn't. So short sighted from @Devonfox1884. We aren't going to have time to replace, we've signed no one and I imagine there's reason for that behind the scenes.

The other thing is even if you do sign someone, you’ve got to get them in, settled, become part of the group and they don’t have 6-8 weeks worth of Marti coaching them how he wants them to play.

That’s not to say we don’t get someone in if we think they’ll work… but certainly in midfield I’d want to see someone come in before anyone went out.

If he goes we absolutely need to get someone else in and it would cost us more than we get for Harry.

He changed the game yesterday and frankly should be starting every week, regardless of what he did or didn’t do under the Plonkers last year.

Can't warm to him. At full time yesterday he was just standing there in a sulk. Rather get rid and get someone hungry in

He changed the game yesterday without him coming on we probably wouldn’t of won, that’s good enough for me to keep him, we are not in a position to get rid of our better players considering the shit we have in midfield, couldn’t careless if he wasn’t smiling in an interview! Would you be? When skip is ahead of you in the line up🤣🤣🤣

On his day, when he wants to be, a quality player. But a grade A tw@.

Get rid, free up the wages, we can then look at bringing someone else in.

To those here saying we shouldn’t sell because of his quality, we will be able to bring someone else in, don’t panic!

Don’t panic? Are you having a laugh do you expect we are competent as a club in finding a midfielder better then winks at this level for a cheap price?? I admire your belief

He seemed pretty happy on his interview although he did get man of the match after only being on the pitch for 45mins

All depends on attitude - didn’t like the ‘we miss you Enzo’ sign.  On the fence with the staying at the training ground seems like him and Ruud were both unreasonable on that.

Would much rather Soumane left on loan.

happy for Winks to see out his contract - I’m not sure he’ll do better than us at the end of it but depends if he wants to play or fill a squad place.

I'd take the chance and take the money. Too many of these we're still wedded to convenience and a lot of us have had a gutful. I really don't care about promotion if this is what the end result is.

Highest earner on the books or in the top 5 isn’t he so wouldn’t be surprised to see him leave, especially if Valencia links are true, can have a nice aperol there can’t he :P

I thought his body language has definitely indicated he wants away.

However, he was great against Fiorentina when he came on and then yesterday he changed the game.

We'd be mad to let him go with the state our midfield.

Literally he should be 3rd or 4th name on the team sheet.

If we sell Winks, we can kiss goodbye to promotion as our midfield options are dire. It is as simple as that. Get us promoted and he can leave on a free at the end of the season - financially that far outweighs a possible 5 million at this stage. Soumare, Faes, BCR, Vesterguard, Okoli are our priority sells atm in that order.

29-year old, in his final contract year - surely we let him go as long as we get a favourable PSR bid?

This is what the best-run, sustainable clubs do (I know, Rudkin LOL)  - cash in, and have the replacement lined up.

Winks has quality at this this level but we're just going to end up with the same problem over and over again.

Getting our house in order will ensure we have a stronger longer-term platform rather than becoming a yo-yo club.

I want him gone but might be worth holding on for now as if he has a half decent season his value should increase. If we somehow get promoted he can't be here next season

Increase his value in time for him leaving for free?

This makes no sense. For him to increase in value he would have to sign a new deal with is as he is contracted to then end of the season. I dont see that happening.

I didn't realise he was in his last year to be honest. Take the money now then for sure

Honestly, who is going to buy him? The only slight possibility of something that makes sense for us to sell is abroad. No championship team will pay enough and no premier league team will want him. Our best use is to grit our teeth and cope with his attitude if he keeps playing like he did yesterday. If he gets us up, we have got value out of him.

I’d rather accept staying in the championship and playing the talented kid Page in midfield alongside Alves instead of Winks & Skipp

Monga on the wing

Nelson & Okoli in defence v Vest & Faes

Accept the idea that they’ll need time but at least they’re going to improve in value and low cost wages.

Than these entitled tired has beens

Just flog them for nothing and refresh a tired & stale squad
