Can we not ask Choudhury to perform the ball winning number 6 role? 

Have Winks and BEK playing either side of him.

 

Would this be the solution?

 

I think we all assumed Hamza would be playing inverted right back as back up to Ricardo..... but he was available and MC didn't play him there today!

 

We somehow need to relegate Skipp and Soumare to the bench/cup games. No way either of these should be starting

Winks needs to start for sure. If Skipp grew a pair of bollucks and didnt hide from the ball then id of said those two.

 

Think Choudhurys better used as a RB nowadays tbh in games we’re under the cosh. Was pretty solid there under Enzo

Golding will never play first team football at this level. He is shit. Braybrook is also never going to play for us, and Alves isn’t a CM. So none of that will work.

Skipp and Soumare should be pushed out on loan. No one will buy them. 

We then start Winks and sign two CM's and pray we can hang onto Bilal. 

 

Worrying that Marti felt confident in Skipp and Soumare, but hopefully today was a shock to him and that won't happen again if they stay.

Soumare is always the issue. Been calling it on here since the Fiorentina match , after a centre forward, we need a 6.

 

One that is mobile enough to break up play, whilst being solid on the ball.

 

I’ve always rated Winks, but he’s also not that player, he does have potential alongside one in a double pivot as we saw in 2nd half today.

 

After a decent pre season I’m still not sure what Skipp actually does.

Skipp and Soumare aren’t the answer to any questions anyone asks about being successful.

 

After Slimani and Silva, I’d have Skipp as my 3rd worst Leicester transfer of all time, with Soumare and Musa completing my top 5! All signed under the current regime!

It’s the central box that’s the issue, not just CM. Okoli and Vesty were poor too. Amazing how we all wanted Okoli, many saying he would be a class above, he looked utterly garbage today. The odd show of strength, but on the ball he is a disaster. And Vesty will just get caught all the time by pace. I’d dread to think what Bristol could do to this team……

we should just move them on then, i thought alves could play as an attacking midfielder across the middle?

Absolutely no chance hamza is the answer to the question in centre mid either - short memories - he is bang average in their - second choice right back is my limitation with him - we need to go out and get 2 decent loans in the middle to rotate around winks - it shouldn’t be rocket science- we need legs in there and people who can move the ball quickly - winks is more than good enough to do that at this level - skipp should be a bench warmer and soumare should never wear the shirt again

Not sure i agree with this. He misplaced one pass, as far as i could see. You  can't pair him and Vestergaard together. Anyone next to Vestergaard is going to suffer. 

 

Worrying that Marti doesn't see that! Nelson with Faes (at this level) OR Okoli, is fine.

He tends to play off the left, but he could play as a CAM if needed. But I agree, we need to move on the players who aren’t going to play.
