Go back to the thread when we signed him. There weres people genuinely saying what a good bit of business it was and how he was a solid signing.

Anyone even with the tiniest bit of football knowledge knew what a bad signing it was and exactly how it would pan out.

It’s always fun ro go back to page one on most failed player threads.Quite a few questioned this particular transfer in all fairness.

Yeah, I always say this. People love to sit and criticise now yet at the the time the same people were "good signing" "well needed experience".

I got criticised for saying how bad Skipp would be. Could see it a mile off. For some reason you can't seem to criticise new signigns.

People love "experience" and then criticise it at the end of the season when it hasn't worked out. These players are awful yet we're supposed to be happy signing them.

Yes, a bit of a personal bugbear this.   Any criticism of a signing is met with the old chestnut that he hasn't kicked a ball for us yet, as if you're being totally unreasonable. That is not the point.  I remember being  an almost lone voice amid a sea of approval when we signed Perez,  disappointed to replace Chilwell with a steady Eddie like Castagne and absolutely fall down astonished and horrified when we signed Vestergaard and Bertrand.

The reason for that is that I had seen them kick a ball before and that's exactly why I didn't want them.   The idea that they might mutate into top quality players just by putting on a Leicester jersey is absurd.

Absolutely agree. It’s as if in all those cases the club had sacked all their scouts and nobody had ever been to actually watch them. How else could they get it so obviously wrong when we previously had a model of recruitment that was mostly so incredibly right?

Isn't Vestergaard here until 2027 as well? Christ this swamp drain will take years and even by 2027, no doubt Rudkin will have filled us up with some more shite to last us through to 2030.

Of what?

We actually, we’ve started quite a few games where he was the last player to have scored for us. Quite a record.

Unfortunately the total likelihood of being complete and utter dogshite though.

Did anyone watch this chump play before we signed him. Whoever they were should be registered blind
