It's in the works. The expectation is that a system with new points rewarding will be in place next season.

With what you have been told do you believe that? Only its been said they are looking at it for close to ten years.

One of the reasons why pre all seater stadiums work so well for away fan atmosphere .

The seats attracted the older  fans , families and people unable to sand for long periods and standing the younger lads and any one wanting to sing .

Obviously no issue with older fans going to away games but we do seem to have a higher proportion compared to other clubs.

Probably because of how the priority system has been the same for over 10 years now, so young lads can't get tickets unless using someone elses reference.

it's that people only raise this when there are "big games" or "big teams".

No issue with Huddersfield for £10 in the cup or Preston away.

You have to go to them games to get the points.

But coach one can do one. Had this at Arsenal away a few seasons ago. Awful lot.

We go through this argument about 10 times a season, but to summarise, a young lad would have to attend about 400 away games in order to catch up with someone who's had an ST for 11 years but never done an away game.

More games will reach all STH this season as we're crap, we're in the Championship and there's not much positivity at the moment around the club. If we were to get back to the EPL, we'd have the same issues again with tickets not going down the bands every week.

I'll believe it when I see it as always.

But my view is that a lot they brought up via 90 mins etc can be justifiable called out without denial. If they want to play the FEF game, then anything which they've mentioned in that system is fair game. Previously they have tried to hide it with no record.

Honestly think fundamental change won't happen solely through the fans but rather in the modern world of fans justifying their opinion to the media and wider football fanbase.

It's why atmospheres have got better up in Scotland.

Yes the first front rows are by and large lifeless, entitled, miserable barstewards.

They are parasites we've by and large acquired over the last 10 years or so.

I'm no spring chicken myself so it's not an age thing it just looks as though some people have had the life sucked out of them.

Life sucked out of them  ?
They probably spoke to Rudkin & Top

There were plenty of tickets left for both hudders and Preston.

Not really, you can’t make up the ground when a renewal gets more points than every away game in a season put together.

I'm pretty sure a couple of the women that sit down the front every game, ever year, have been going since it was Fosse.

Im sorry but Leicester fosse haven’t existed since 1919 and there’s no way anyone alive today in a Leicester city  away end have ever watched Leicester fosse play.

Plenty of booing and a few ‘C’ bombs could feel the disapproval around me!

really is a divided fan base happy clappers and those with common sense

Yes I threw  a few out there especially at Jacob’s Fuchup and Ayews corners and the actual Pish Poor performance we were served up at half time, we had to stand at times as where we sat the crossbar was a bit of a blind spot to say the least !!

Young Jeremy Monga wa the saving grace on Saturday took his goal well and was a real menace to the Preston box and their only way of stopping him was to foul him what a quality lad !

And there were plenty of young lads in those away ends.

But the other issue we've got now is as I've said above, the whole club is toxic, half the squad doesn't want to be here, owner doesn't care, DoF is useless, players openly taking the piss, so away ends will likely be poor regardless of who is in them.

There's no problem with older supporters sitting. The real problem is people clapping the players off in my opinion. I think there's a big percentage of people who support Leicester who think king power can't do anything wrong as well

She’d be the oldest woman in England if she had. It would be interesting to know who was the last person alive to have watched Leicester fosse at filbert street though.

I think if I got an age where I couldn't stand for 90 minutes I'd take the view of I've had my fun and leave it to those that can.

I find it hard to believe Leeds, Wednesday, Man United, Forest, Birmingham etc don't have older fans that have been going for decades, it's just that they either can't or don't want to go because their ends are too virile - or they join in anyway. Our ends could be renewed with a fresh impetus of younger fans but the club's idiotic pricing, priority and sales procedure stops them acquiring enough points.

10 years??? Most of the supporters club coach have been going for 40 or 50 years. I'm not on anyone's side here, but just because they aren't jumping up and down shouting swear words doesn't mean they aren't fans, I mean they spend their money and travel everywhere following the club and care just as much if not more than anyone else.

Are people saying there's an age limit now on away games? I'd rather sit near them then the plums who spend the whole game looking and gesturing at the opposing fans acting hard.

James do you take your giant peach to away games?

I doubt anyone is advocating limiting the fan base to a select few.  Everyone is welcome. But i  understand that some of those more vocal fans might be frustrated going to away games because away games traditionally tend to have a higher percentage of vocal fans, a younger demographic that are more interested in generating an atmosphere.  Yet leicester away ends can look more like the home ends, especially compared to other fanbases.

It's just a day out for some. I have an elderly relative (doesnt go anymore) that was part of the Coach 1 scene. She used to love it but it was just a social with the football being secondary to the coach and bingo. Each to their own.

Not sure why other clubs dont do this. Guessing they can't be shifted once established and why should they be if that's what they want to do?

Exactly the point, yes. Some people can't get their head around people being different from them. Not everyone wants to shout and call every player who misplaces a pass a cvnt. I go swimming at the gym and there's people who are just walking up and down the pool or sitting in the pool having a chat and they're fully entitled and allowed to do so, bit like people can buy a ticket and go to the football and sit down and be fairly quiet and innocent if that's what they like doing.
