Surely we would have a replacement already lined up if we’re selling him? Can’t carry on selling players if we’re not improving the squad.

If Bouba, Faes and BEK go and nobody comes in, I will be devastated.

Everyones been slagging him off for the previous games but now one good performance and hes unsellable 😂. 10 mil and its a good deal

he's unsellable because it's 23 hours left of the window and we're already short in his position. We cannot put ourselves in the position of needing 5 or 6 incomings tomorrow, which selling him in addition to BEK would do, given Rudkin cannot do his job effectively to get all those incomings over the line

unless 2 or 3 are already lined up

Quite, but history would dictate the unlikeliness of this outcome,  then again I suppose this window has been rather unusual anyway!

that about replaces BEK and Soumare and then still leaves us light in a lot of areas. I get peoples "drain the swamp" attitude towards this squad of pricks but we do need to have a squad left at the end of the window, not just an asset stripped mess

Agent will have offered him around, that’s what this means. And with the wages he’s on, if there’s a reasonable offer we would take it, even without a replacement.

Still think this is unlikely but all it takes is a last minute injury and clubs get desperate.

He only has a year left, and has started every game so the manager considers him an asset and if we don’t plan on bringing anyone else in then surely it’s better to keep the strongest 11,

If PSR as reported is not a concern any more.

He'd be a bigger loss than most expect. Quite comfortably our best centre midfielder

Like saying Fred West is comfortably our best gardener.

Absolutely no chance. His agent has phoned Milan and said he’d like to play for them. **** me, I’ll phone Real Madrid in the morning and say my mates 3 day old daughter would like to play for them, see if that gets 5 pages of posts.

Battered wife syndrome on here, one 6.5/10 performance and some are wavering. I’d sell him even if we couldn’t replace him
