Good prospect but he's fresh off the back of a bad injury isn't he? Had some decent stints in the championship though.

I really rated him back in his prime but he's in his mid 30s and probably on high wages. Maybe for a 1 season deal.

Ramsey is more of an attacking midfielder than James - Don't think it would be one or the other if true.

Yeah was very good on loan at Middlesborough in 22/23. Last season missed the whole lot with a bad knee injury.

If he can get back to his best post-injury then it'll be a fine signing. I'd imagine this would just be a loan though.

JJ is more centre mid / box to box and Ramsey is an attacking mid so would replace Bilal

IIRC they were quite often on tele. Saw a lot of that team play and he seemed to be at the heart of everything they did well.

I would prefer someone like Jakob Breum (dreaming I know) but as long as he is over that knee injury then Ramsey on a loan with option to buy could be another smart deal

Looks like Burnley paid about £14m for him
