A target man will suit us with Monga, Mavididi and Fatawu all good at cutting in. It presents opposition defences with a dilemma too, defend high and allow space in behind out wide or defend deep and get hit through the middle.

Is he good or shit or what?

Football wise it's 50:50, but he's got the kind of looks that could turn a Curly Wurly straight, so we're going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Hard to imagine how defenders will cope with a striker that is 2 inches shorter than Ayew and seemingly as pacey Vesty carrying a 50kg weighted vest lol

Brian Deane and Steve Howard were target men. Im not sure this guy falls into that category haha

Hang on, I was reading their fans saying he’s a target man and he’s 5’9” ffs!

He's 6'0, so Ayew must be substantially taller than he looks 😂

Speedie was 8 inches shorter than Ayew and far better in the air.

Too young to remember him unfortunately but he must have had some leap :D

I remember Les Ferdinand not being the tallest but it seemed like he could jump about 4 foot in the air as well

Looks like theres 2 heights floating about. 5'9 or 6'0

I guess were gonna need him to play up front with Ayew to find out once and for all :D

Dickov was definitely not a target man! Haha

Ian Walker goal kick, Brian Deane header, dickov in behind. That felt like the usual routine :D

Will always remember his header v Arsenal when we threatened to ruin their unbeaten campaign

If he sits on his shoulders we’ll be laughing.

Decent least we got a striker in the end, looks ok from YT clips I have seen, can score with both feet

Not at the same time, hopefully.

From those who claim to know what he’s like, it sounds like, at best, we’ve hopefully got a bit of a Piroe-esque striker. Won’t get involved much or do much in the build up but will find the net with decent regularity if chances are created for him.

Tbh, him being our first ever Argentinian is good enough for me. First loan too. Fingers crossed he’ll help us to our first ever promotion to the Premier League.
