If you want Ayew to start you play him as the 10 where he can drop deep and hold the ball up. You then need a Striker such as Daka who wants to run in behind forcing there defence to start to drop off and we get more space and allowed to play out from back.

 

The problem for me is we need a striker who wants to stretch the play 

I think Mav and Fats are supposed to push wide past the block at that point and open up space for the midfield to flood forward. Can't see why that's not ripping them to shreds right now
