Stolarczyk

Ricardo - Vestergaard - Okoli - Thomas

James - Winks

Fatawu - Ayew - BDCR

Carranza

Monga on for BDCR around the hour. Mavididi on for Ayew a little after that. Let James play the full 90.

Even at this stage, I think this is a must win, I think the next 3 are. I remember last season, early on, we entered a rub of fixtures which looked quite favourable at the time. We won 2 of the five. I think we enter a similar favourable run in the next 6 and could define if we go for autos, playoffs or mid table.

3-1 Leicester. Get some cohesion in the attacking play. Stay solid.

Are you seriously advocating for BDCR to start?

Yes no Faes and no Soumare is good start. BDCR get out of town have you had too many Vimtos?

I think a home game against Wrexham, after 3 draws will fall into the category. I think another draw or defeat could create grumbles around the ground, which wouldn’t be the best thing for us at this stage.

So yes, given where we are, the last 3 results, I think this can fall into the must win or crucial win category.

Mavididi can't keep starting and doing nothing, Wrexham are one of the worst sides we'll face. Yeah I'm serious about dropping Stephy for a game and starting BDCR. I'd rather bring Monga on vs tired legs than BDCR, and it would be one of the two starting there if Mavididi isn't.

BDCR shouldn’t even be on the team

Not at all convinced by Reid but that's more his natural position is it not. He also does have a bit more of a tendency to pop up with a goal every now and then.

What it will actually be: probably unchanged.

Seriously....some people are picking BDCR over Mavididi? This is quite disturbing. Just because 'Hans.......Booby' (Die Hard reference) shanks a volley into a West Brom defender and it deflects into the goal, apparently now he's the new Pele. It sickens me that this piece of shit is anywhere near our squad

Sorry but, you might not rate him or whatever, but why is he ‘a piece of shit’?

Most of the team picks itself. The no10 and striker are the tricky ones.

Stolarcryk

Ricardo Faes Vestergaard Thomas

Winks James

Fatawu Page Mavididi

Daka

Subs - Begovic, Okoli, Choudhury, Skipp, Soumare, BDR, Monga, Ayew, Carranza

Clearly not going to happen as Ayew isn’t there and we will not see Page again now he signed his contract. But Wrexham under Parkinson just seem to be quite a slow side (unless that has changed this season as I haven’t really seen much of them). I just think we stand the best chance of beating them by being quicker about things. Ayew just slows it all down.

From what I saw of them at the weekend, they’re all physicality and nothing else. They will press, run and try to bully but lack quality. However, Windass is handy for a goal or two given half a chance…. It’s clear as day we will need some pace at the top end of the pitch, if we play Ayew we will just see the same old struggle as always, I’d be willing to see Carranza given a go from the off, and hopefully Ayew on the bench…. Or even Daka, as I’ve said before it’s my belief his pace would occupy the defenders and allow our other attacking players to come into play.

If we actually dropped Ayew and Soumare for James, and one of Carranza or Daka, we would win this comfortably.

Trying not to be cynical, but a bit worried about this game.

We're not creating many (if any) clear cut chances at the moment, and when we do there's nobody to finish them off. I think Ricardo might be our top scorer at the moment?

Also a bit concerned about playing a high line against Wrexham. They'll love sitting deep and countering, getting crosses in behind our defensive line for forwards to run on to. I think Vestergaard has played relatively well so far this season, but his lack of pace is going to get exposed.

Hoping it all just clicks, but not sure how or what might trigger that at the moment.

I am in no way advocating for BDCR to start, but you make your own luck. He got himself into a position, and then took the shot which resulted in the deflection & goal.

Mavididi has played 6 out of 7 of the league games now, as an attacking player, and not got a single goal or assist.

Monga, whos had a tiny fraction of game time in comparison, is already on 1 goal and 1 assist.

Mavididi is shit, dont be fooled by all his fancy step overs and the odd feint.

Genuinely dont believe we would be much worse off with BDCR playing instead of him.

Obviously not helped with the club deciding it should be a Cat A fixture for a night game against a newly promoted team, when this would normally be a 'fan fixture' of some kind.

Your average Leicester fan isn't going to suddenly spend £40+ on this game because they know Deadpool has an interest in it.

Genius by the club if you ask me.

A lot of families can't afford to go to Hollywood so they've brought Hollywood to us.

Think of all the Marvel merch you can bring along for Connor Coady to sign.

Okoli can’t come back in, he’s too poor in possession.

Literally we’d be better off without them

I advocate for this too. Yes Vesty is playing well (at his level) but these players are holding back the club's progression.
