I do have this nagging worry that none of our other options up front will prove any better than Ayew, but that’s not the point anymore.

We’ve now played 7 games with Ayew as the starting number 9 and it’s clear the balance of the team isn’t working with this option. I just want Marti to try something different - anything - to demonstrate that he’s recognised this and is trying to fix it.

If he starts with Daka, Carranza, or tweaks the formation and it doesn’t work out I won’t condemn him for trying. If he serves up the same solution, however, for the 8th game running then the alarms bells will start ringing even more loudly

In dropping Ayew it stops him stinking up other areas of the pitch, holding on to ball for too long while ignoring others and looking to buy cheap fouls during counter attacks on the half way line.

My main concern is that the manager can’t see that he’s causing more issues than good, aside from not scoring.

Loads of tickets available for this. Not surprised to be honest.

You don't get much change out of £50 for a ticket in the East Stand.

How many tickets are left?

I agree. He has to try something to get us scoring more goals.

Your right, there needs to be loads of spare seats for the above to think “yea we made a mistake putting this in the same bracket as Coventry at home” this should be one of the cheapest fixtures of the season

Strange team Wrexham. Most open team in the division so you would like to think this could be the game we actually attack a bit better. But unsurprisingly they have upturned since dropping Coady and Ward got injured. Bonkers we had these playing Premier League football.

They can score goals though. We've been fairly tough to break down at home but they're getting a few.

I'll say 2-1 win.

Sounds like you've moved beyond 'feel'.  Sorry :P  Let's hope Fatawu can have another field day :D

Same but loved it in that era, following them everywhere home and away mostly in the old division 2.

Never had anything like the success we've had in recent years but it somehow seemed better.

Must be an age thing as I wouldn't go tomorrow night even if someone offered me a free ticket. :(

I think Ayew’s hold up play has a purpose in some games, but not every week. Teams have seen it now and we’re over relying on the midfield to create chances when there’s a lack of space being created by the 9.

I’d start Daka for a few games in the hope his runs in behind pushes teams back and allows a bit more space for those behind him to create.

Keep Kabore quiet.

He's played 2 games and has 3 assists and frankly should have more but for some poor finishing.

We were interested in the Summer, and if we go up I hope he's still an option.
